Alcohol to try?

so I'm turning 21 on Saturday and I want to spend the day and night getting completely wasted. I was wondering if the fine folk here at BG had any starter drinks to suggest. I'd ask my dad but all he's ever had is johnny walker and jack daniels, which I think is a bit more heavy. I wanna be eased in to sophisticated taste.

my fav <3 usually do a shot or two of this shit before I go to work everyday, and it gives me a slight buzz, I would assume it would make you shit faced quickly if you're not a big alcohol drinker, don't drink to much.

what the fuck? You take shots of 150-190 proof alcohol before going to work?

Dont touch grain alcohol (everclear) for your first night of drinking...that is an incredible mistake and just plain silly. It tastes like burning and does nothing but get you drunk for cheap. There is no flavor to acquire, its just alcohol.

Just make sure when you are doing this full day of drinking, you do it right.

What does that mean? hydrate the day before and during the drinking. just grab a glass of water every now and then, believe me this will help a lot.

Also eat some fucking food throughout the day. Don't eat shit that will upset your stomach, but stuff that has some substance (IE not a fucking salad) and will help you last longer.

If you do it right, you will only throw up at the end of the night instead of early on/several times lol.

My first drink at 21 was a jack & coke. Stick to simple things, beer or mixed drinks at first, and move on from there. No reason to go hard right out the gate.

But really, here are some suggestions.
A pitcher of nice summer ale for the afternoon. Sierra Nevada Summerbrew is a good one I just tried.
Tanqueray and Tonic (Old man drink, but I love it)
2 shots that me and my friends made up:
Bitchassness: Black Cherry Vodka, Chambord, Cranberry juice
No Bitchassness: Sambuca, Patron Silver, Grand Marnier (Good if you like Sambuca, bad if you don't... I remembered after the shot that I hate liqourice)

A good tequila drink is nice, but I doubt you'll be going to anyplace super classy for your 21st. There's a more upscale tequila bar by me that makes banging tequila cocktails/margaritas. One of them is jalapeno and orange infused tequila with mango and sour mix(I think). It's sweet, but has just the right amount of spicy.... and fucking delicious. Also some margarita with cucumber and acai is the shit. Damn, I could go for one right now. Anyways, enough about that.

Try to stay away from too many drinks with tons of sugar in them, it will only make you feel worse. Other than that listen to Zoo, he pointed out most of the important things.

Whatever you do, avoid shit like Smirnoff Ice or Bacardi Silver. Those drinks might taste ok at first, but they'll eventually ruin your night. Imagine eating an entire bag of skittles while also drunk.

Wake up to a mimosa/screwdriver, go have lunch and sit outside and enjoy a bloody mary, then have a beer with dinner.

Night cap it with a cigar and bourbon.

Around noon so I'm not too messed up, but I think that won't help my condition at days end. I guess I'll start light and go hard as the day progresses... Thanks for the suggestions
