One drink I really enjoy from time to time is a Zombie. It might classify as girly due to the fruity taste, but there's a shit ton of alcohol, and they will fuck you up. Mind you, it's kinda pricy, but well worth it

Flaming Dr. Pepper is a lot of fun. I still remember my first one, and fuck, I was shocked when it indeed tasted like Dr. Pepper!

Guiness, Blue Moon (still my favorite to this day), Boddington, maybe even Frambozen if you like the fruity stuff are all decent starter beers imo.

AND FUCK COORS LIGHT. It's barely passable as water, let alone beer.

Also, nth a properly made Long Island Iced Tea. Shitty balance of liquor makes it taste like cat vomit, but when it's good.... it's good.

Rule of thumb for mixed drinks that will help your experience tenfold is to use actual freshly squeezed lemon juice, and not some shitty barmix. Dose your sugar with simply syrup depending on if you like sour or sweet cocktails. Long Island Iced Teas have 2oz of alcohol in them and are very good when made with fresh juice, and won't be considered as a girly drink, if that's what bothers you.

For a stronger long island variation, top it off with jagermeister instead of coke.

If you really think you hate whiskey, try a Lynchburg lemonade then report back. Equal parts JD, triple sec, and sour mix or lemon+syrup, then add lemon-lime soda to fill a glass. Can use bourbon instead. Modest alcohol content but it's fucking delicious.

pro tip- if you do drink hard liquor straight up and need a chaser with coke(substitute your chaser) make sure to refer it as coke back. it will be considered one drink. the coke wont be considered as a second drink. $_$

Now that I'm actually old enough to legally purchase alcohol though, I stick with liquor.

Fuck that drink, what is even worse is a God's Nectar. Every well liquor in one drink. Projectile vomit will happen shortly after ingesting this drink.

If you are watching the calories and want a mixed drink that is subtle Bacardi Limon and water. If I drink mixed drinks when I am out, which is rare, I usually do the Limon/Water, Tanq/Tonic, or just Jack on the rocks. If I am doing shots is usually just Patron or sometimes Jack.
