If you can't afford to pay $100 to get a flea removal, then you can't afford to have a cat or any animal for that matter.

Pretend like you have a soul and take it to a shelter, at the very least. While you are there be sure to inform them of the reason you are dropping off your cat for adoption. After the looks of revulsion and disgust you might get an idea of how the people here feel about you too.

Any time I try and scratch my cats anywhere behind the front shoulders, the get ready to brawl. (Ie. roll on their back in the defensive kitty position)

I only have one cat that will not claw or bite too hard when I play with them when they are in defensive mode. The other cats can and will shred my fucking arm to pieces.

Not to start a new thread. But the same cat that doesn't claw is a smart motherfucker. He sits at the counter when we eat, on his own stool, with 2 front paws on the counter. He fetches, opens the cabinet to get his own treats. He doesn't open the container, but he does open the cabinet door, grab his treat container, and bring it right to us. He enjoys watching tv when anything about the ocean is on tv. That probably comes from him sitting in front of my salt water reef tank all day watching those fish. He has also rescued mice on 2 occasions. Caught them from the basement and held in his mouth at the door until I opened the door up. Then he put the mouse down and it ran away lol.

I'm sure the mouse thing is a bit far fetched to say he is "saving them", but this cat is one smart motherfucker. He's a Russian Blue named White Weenis.
