I'm not obsessed with her, but she's cute enough. (I do want to clock 500 days fans though)
But the series itself was really solidly done. Alice on the other hand, was too short & shoddily written. Even Colm Meany, Matt Frewer, AND Tim Curry wasn't enough to lift it out, though I was happy to see Andrew Lee Potts get some work while Primeval is getting it's furlough because BBC can't be arsed to fund a SUCCESSFUL show.

I used to be glued to SciFi every Friday for The Invisible Man, Farscape and Lexx.
Apart from Battle Star Galactica I haven't had a reason to bother with the station recently, kinda sad really...

According to Jim Butcher(author of the Dresden Files novels, on which the series was based) the president of Syfy is responsible for wrestling and Ghost Hunters, while the next person down the corporate ladder is responsible for a little show called BSG. This second person was also responsible for the Dresden show and, again according to Butcher, the president sabotaged the project in every way she could get away with to keep from getting replaced.

Point of this story is if this kind of shit is true and not an isolated incident, it's no wonder there are exactly two shows on the whole network that are even watchable.

The mini series were great, it's a shame that SyFy and the networks don't do them any more.
Lost Room, Tin Man, 10th Kingdom, Merlin, Dinotopia. Granted they do have bombs like Riverworld, Alice, etc.

I've been watching a lot of MST3K lately and it made me miss the Sci-Fi channel. I miss Saturday Anime too. I loved that shit in middle school.

I read about that a while back and I'm still bitter over them dropping the Dresden Files. May have not followed the books, but it had potential.
