Managed to get to the first boss before this free proxy thing kicked me, lol. Definitely IP blocked, can connect fine with proxys but not my UK IP. Seems like it will be a lot of fun.

Ah ok, so clearly only EU players who are IP blocked are able to patch quickly! It all makes so much... I don't get it.

Still "Downloading: en-" and my total bar is just sitting there at around 35% I'd wager.

I wasn't watching it the entire time, but after a bit past halfway it must have shot up. At that point it stopped saying downloading en- too and actually listed what files it was getting.

en- must be the bulk of the update from how long it's taking.

Given the speed it's currently going for me I wont be playing tonight.

Well, Kiarax is right, about 70% in, en- stops, and from there on it goes very quickly.

Problem now, the servers are so clogged hardly anyone can get in. If anyone gets "server connection delayed", that's why.

Going to try again tomorrow morning.

West server seems like it works fine, it's just East that's having problems.

only one patch for both servers, didn't take me to long to download(15-30 minutes), but that might be because i already had the game installed and patched from the last closed beta

I installed it lastnight and mine patched in the same amount of time. So it shouldn't make a difference.

Got in a for a while, only long enough to do a solo mission and one group mission. I actually had quite a bit of fun, really liking this so far. Hope that it just gets better, but won't be able to play much until tomorrow night/this weekend.

Oh, and I meant to ask, has anyone been able to use a gamepad in the Beta? I see that there is an option for the 360 controller in "Advanced Settings" under controls, but I can't seem to get it to work. I will mess around with it more tomorrow.

So what did you EU guys used to connect? I tried using AOL since some people were successful with it but I can't get it to work properly somehow so I'd like to try some proxy instead.

I'm gonna try the AOL thing tomorrow. Asked a couple of Australian people who were playing what they used and they both said the same thing.
