FFXIV Random Speculation/Question thread IV: I got beta inv but my 5 year old PC can't run it

So after getting in the first time in a week, when there were only a few minutes left in the beta, I finally get in and I'm ready to go. I talk to Hob and...I'm stuck. No Baderon. Nowhere to go but wander around on the docks. With a couple other people, who are also either as stuck as I am, or as incompetent.

Hob has 2 options, second is the right one, if you crash right after text displays (can't move or do anything) try to remove some equipement, worked for me once.

Son of a bitch! Finished a mining leve and right about when it does that color change thing it crashed. ><

I had this happen to me once. As long as you actually completed the leve, the next time you touch a Aetheryte crystal, you should still get your rewards. Kind of a nice touch.

If a leve got cancelled when you got booted, anyway to get it back?

He's not giving me any options. Looking at the beta forums, this is a glitch. I guess it's time to re-roll if I want to be part of the fun today, not like I had anything invested in this character anyway. Thanks anyway, though.

nope, if it's failed from a disconnection, its failed. Something SE should fix

I dunno if there's an easier way, but I had to run back to Limsa and grab the leave all over again when I got booted.

if your w/a friend doing the leve you can go to the aetherite and rejoin it.

Confirm on Cassiopeia Hollow's aetheryte being linked to Bloodshore.

Still no traits in sight at class rank 20. =x

[e] Cassiopeias are hard to solo at c20, even though they check as light blue. They are however, in close proximity to an aetheryte node. =x

Not a hoss by any stretch of the imagination, but the game is running really nice. Hotel I'm in at the moment has a multimedia hub connected to the HDTV in the room, so I'm playing on output to the TV at 720p.

are you in the process of doing guildleve? I found that this may also prevent you to set action bar. Just now when I just finish one of the guildleve, while haven't return it yet. I'm unable to set a new skill until I report to crystal

I've error'd out of the game a few times, and my logging back in has done the following precisely:

1st try) 13001/0/0
2nd try) 13001/3402/0
3rd try) Successful login
