anyone know how to break crystal clusters or how to use shards at all?
anyone know how to break crystal clusters or how to use shards at all?
Leveling crafts is annoying atm anyway; for instance making maple lumber stops giving you skill points (still gives 500~ exp) when you hit Lv3, but at Lv2 its a pretty hard/long synth and gives you 700 skill/per.
Also finding crystals is a bitch, having shards, crystals and clusters (does anyone know if you can break them down in their lesser parts?). I'm having hard time getting ice (have no idea what drops this, fought random things till they dropped crystals but no luck finding ice) and water (jelly's drop it, but they can still kill me at 15/20).
EDIT:: I forgot exactly but I think rats gave me fire? moles gave me earth, puks wind, jelly water.
Dodos are pretty god tier for leveling up melee rank. I've noticed my gladiator has been slacking... 14 compared to level 21 physical... Getting 500-600 per dodo kill near skull camp
Going to venture to camp bald knoll right now![]()
Conning needs some serious work. Ive killed so many 'Very Toughs' (red)extremely easily while solo, a bunch of them are even thrown at me in introductory leves. No idea what this scale is on, but its poop.
"You decide to wait until you are more skilled to attempt this synthesis" Oh sweet it didn't even let me try, awesome, so by the time I can actually level Blacksmithing to the point where I can make this sword, I won't even need it, nor will it be worth the hassle. Typical crafting is typical is fail.
This is what happened when at level 3 Smithing I finally found out how to make a Bronze Spatha blade. I blew almost all of my funds assembling the materials to make this sword, only to find out I can't even -attempt- to make a -part- of it, let alone the entire blade.
Fail crafting is fail! Typical MMO crafting, amazing, you spend a zillion moneys leveling/buying materials to make something that is in every way inferior to what you could buy for half the price at a vendor. Except at the moment there is no vendor, except for some stupid dagger, which I will now never get my hands on because there is zero chance of me making money due to levequests being on a 2 day timer.
So by attempting to test crafting, I've basically locked myself out of furthering my gladiator due to still having to use a lv1 sword, this is cool.
I made enough gil to buy all (most) tier II weapons so far. Sell all your drops to NPCs. You can also share other people's leves and the rewards along with it, so join up with random people.
getting runtime errors.. they better check their code ._.
a few things:
1) I'm not able to eat my meat miq'abob . can't we eat food yet?
2) been looking for a a pick axe with no luck ,where can i buy it?
3) i don't know if the server is going to fall down , but right now, it's almost impossible to fight due the lag
Certain mobs have their weaknesses. As for guildleves, I'm going to shamelessly quote myself on an earlier observation:
I also don't know what you guys hit crabs for, but blunt damage is definitely around the 10s and 20s. Also if you go back to level a different job, I was definitely killing reds with a polearm with physical rank 25. Part of why I didn't quite understand why the check system moved from physical rank to class rank. This might have been obvious to everyone else, but I've just realized that levequest mobs that come in a group check a difficulty based on that group. When it's down to the last mob, if you reset its combat status, you'll discover what the actual check is for the one mob. Often a light blue mob turns into a red mob in pairs.
Anyone know what the crafting recipe is for Bronze Nuggets? The bullshit NPC repairs on my spear last for roughly a half hour's worth of fighting, so I want to fix it my damned self, but I can't find any information on what you can actually start crafting.
I checked the "official" blacksmithing recipes on the beta site, but bronze nuggets weren't on there.
This game has gone from the "fun" of experiencing new things in a MMO to annoyance at the fact that everything is -still- so cryptic that you have to wind up going outside of the game (I.E. forums!) to find information on it.
Aren't bronze nuggets purchasable at the blacksmithing vendor? I was delighted to find the tortoiseshell I needed to repair my fists was sold at the aquarium tank place north of the blacksmith, even if it costs 6x as much as it costs to repair my fists to 50%.
I have yet to try using the item to manually repair however.
So apparently PUG get an auto-evade ability at 12.
Instant Haymaker = /cumbuckets
Edit: I'm tired, only increases evasion for 8 seconds fu.
these motherfucking mining/logging leves ALWAYS crash my goddamn game
Where does one buy stuff like mage staves, hand-to-hand weapons and bows? My apologies if this has been asked somewhere in another page.
