Wow... 120k preorders in NA alone... Go go 0 marketing? :O
Those planned adjustments sounds pretty awesome. Can't wait for the next version update.
I would say about 20-30% of controls remains the same as FFXI. Other like the camera key becomes IJKL, which to me is not so convenience compare to arrow key. They added some new function onto some key due to the new battle system, which is fine for me.
The main issue for me is they remove F1-F8 target key, which is the most retard thing done by them in the keyboard control problem.
I'm liking crafting. I was able to sell some hempen half gloves for 1,000gil.
Am I the only one getting pants from leves >.>? I swear last test I got 3 pairs of pants, would really love some new body armor.
also, is this new?
FF12 monster killing quests?- The amount of in-game information available regarding Behests will be increased
* Behests are a new feature which will be implemented in the beta test which allow players to engage on quests to defeat monsters
Behests are just renamed Guild leves that only a couple of people per server can do. It sends you off to kill 2-3 mobs of different types and when you're done you get a gil reward. I got about 500 for doing the level 10-20 one.
now that they mentioned the lvl up animation - they had the typical FF end-of-battle song on lvl up the 1st beta day and then the following times it went missing, hope they will bring that back too!? it sounded totally awesome
Is there anyway to speed up the patch? Just installed the client Saturday, started updating then and still have 76hrs left to update -.-
- The server may crash during battle.
I'm surprised no one has anything to say about this.
I hope this is some kind of typo.
Anyone else successfully updated with the patch that was added today? I keep getting an error and it's making me nervous since servers are going up soon and something may be wrong with my client.
I had to buy a pair of gloves for 1k as I had no other equip Q_Q
edit, SB: yeah I updated hours and hours ago
That did not happen to me on this patch, but it did on the last one. I rebooted my pc and then it worked fine.... Hope that helps.Anyone else successfully updated with the patch that was added today? I keep getting an error and it's making me nervous since servers are going up soon and something may be wrong with my client.
EDIT: lmao wrong quote...
I'm sure the chart is accurate.
800k pre orders is a TON. A lot of people still don't pre order at all, so I'm sure that won't be the only sales after launch.
800k pre orders = 40 million dollars.
