I'd love to but my comp probs can't run it either XD Can't even break 2.4k on low in benchmark, wouldn't mind trying though.

Lucky to be lurking atm. I'll take the account if it's really up for grabs..
Somebody has grabbed it already, flock of PMs :D
Grats to Bori for the beta account, I hope you're going to use it productively and actually test stuff
Guess I'll start working towards that new PC.
Thank you so much, I sure will!
Actually, in regards to the thing about spirit dart sucking, consider that its an int/mattack based attack, how much more int/mattack you think mages will get by end, how many mdef reducing skills will they get? i had a friend playing thaum, wasnt have too much trouble doing as much dmg as my pug, also consider if you really want to you can jack other peoples tp attacks, and my guess is they will do mattack based dmg, when i did concussive blow on thaum it did more dmg than spirit dart.
far as mp management, tp skil that gives mp, thats mp management spels that reduce spell costs, convert there are a decent amount of skills that seem to help you manage mp, the skill of the caster is maximizing thier mp with these skills.
Sure you can level faster low level if you tether yourself to a crystal, but when you do, your basically doing weapon skill or higher dmg every attack, unlike a melee class, if they give you any more mp regen theyd have to gimp your spell dmg, because the balance for your power right now is knowing when and how to best use your magic, its also one of the main strategies of mage class, they said it long ago, they want mages to have to manage thier mp pools, your tools are crystals and abilities. healing is not one of the ways, and its for the best i believe
@Panacea
While I am - naturally - not happy that I didn't make it faster than bori, I have to admit I am impressed by your noble attitude!![]()
beta not back til wednesday >.>; and on a side note, i followed bori's link to guildwork and although i couldnt add characters from any game ¬.¬ the site looks veryyyy promising
I saw that you tried to add Aion characters, did you make sure to look @ your character's new name due to server merges? That is probably why you were unable to add your character.
EDIT: Found a small glitch with scraping Aion characters, however it should have not stopped you from adding one.
Either way should be fine now =)
I don't believe you can fight high levels mobs without someone healing, especially when they can hit up and beyond 600 points of dmg.
If SE expect GLD to sub healing abilities then the game has basically become a single player experience where everyone attacks the same enemy, very little cooperation there at all.
I still say they need a healing class, or make conjurer a viable healing class, some people quite enjoy healing myself being one of them.
SO the chest that Ive seen pop all over randomly, I cant even access them, is that because its not mine, someone else looted it, if so why is it still up. They usually pop around me when I kill stuff, one popped after I finished a leve, but I just couldnt open it. Where do I get the keys
Am I the only one that thinks its pretty awesome that PUG get thief skills, Mug OR Steal I forget which.
Word. This is one of my biggest concerns with the game right now.
We know they're trying to make all the classes self-sustainable for soloing... I'm just hoping that subbing skills will allow people to "specialize" in DDing, tanking, healing, buffing, etc. for those of us who DO like partying.
Agreed. Though I'm pretty confident SE will deliver that in some way or form.
EDIT @ Panacea: At the moment, there's no class for healing. Conjurer learns Cure, but I think that's the limit of what we know so far. So there's no White Mage class/build here. Atleast not yet.
Doesn't using Cure on Gladiator pop you out from behind your shield? I don't think that'll work when you're tanking stuff that matters.
stupid menu making things complicated, j/k im just suprised i cant mouse over or access it like an npc. menue is fine NOW that i know.
Wait a sec... specializing would actually make partying much harder, not easier.
Waiting for that tank/healer/buffer to show up is the exact opposite of fun.
Of course its fun for the healer when he gets an invite after 2 seconds, but for everyone else it's pain in the ass.
Hybrids are good if you want to party. No need to look for that specific class that can only do X or Y.
As I would like to party most of my playtime, I am all up for sacrificing class specialization if it means more convenient partying all around.
