a more accurate translation would be:

I actually really liked Enslaved, story and VA were so well done.

Yeah but, story and VA a game does not make. In terms of actual game play, it was very simple and lacking, but I expected nothing less from NT. For an action/adventure game, the game play is more important than story elements.

I understand why people can like Enslaved, but hell if Namco didn't get this one wrong. Regardless, I've pretty much given up on international Tales games, if Namco doesn't want my money, they won't get it. But I'll still play the fuck out of their games, so it's not like it's a huge loss.

Phantasia reference? Also, if the trailer didn't make it obvious, the whole game is supposed to have a focus on those co-op attacks. They're calling the battle system Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System (DR-LMBS).

I swear its like they WANT to fail. They have a franchise that will sell in NA, but they think that their other titles will do better and then cry about it when they do not sell as well as their extremely optimistic forecast predicted.

Looks like they are trying to build off of ToD2 here, that sounds good to me as that's my favorite one as far as battle systems are concerned.

I think he came out of the woodworks to shut everybody up. Still, if it does happen, I don't know how much longer I can hold back from buying Vesperia on the 360. I want it on PS3, not 360.

Also a mod should really change the title to Tales of Xillia now.

Haven't been a fan of the Tales series since Destiny. The art style just turned me off once the technology evolved enough for the developers to actually be able to implement their actual vision of what the characters and world should look like. I liked the series much better when it was with simple sprites. Everyone didn't look so... childish.


That said, has there been a burly wrestler-type like Bruiser Khang since? I miss doing dropkicks and shoulder tackles for massive damage.

This nigga... several of the games after Destiny (including the one that came out right after it, Eternia) look less childish than it does. Let's not forget that everyone is fucking chibi-form in ToD.

Edit: Seriously, you showed me that video to try to prove a point? Oh, the words that were said? The context? I couldn't get over the fact that the characters look no older than twelve, and of course, the horrendous voice acting.

If you like the games, so be it. I'm not really a fan of them anymore. Every time I see a cutscene or screenshots, its just not my thing. At all.
