Yeah, you gotta F8 during the boot to disable that signed drivers shit (bottom option maybe). Sometimes you gotta' run the DS3 application and enable the analog controller to get the sticks to work after rebooting/unplugging/etc. It's very finicky shit. But one F8 and enabling should last you until you system is shut down entirely.

Just a little bump but is there anyway to transfer the translated ISO file to a DVD that the ps2 or ps3 can run? It looks wonderful on my pc but I would like to know if I could run it on my ps2 for nostalgia's sake XD

Hmm...my emulator keeps crashing whenever a summoned Mateus does his ultimate attack (right when the spear emerges from the water). I am guessing the emulator is having difficulty displaying the effect of the attack. The game runs fantastic on my computer otherwise. Any suggestions?

Finally managed to find a copy since I lost my old one. Had a bit of trouble running it at first, but after some tweaking and overclocking I managed to get steady 60fps.

This game looks boss, I'm almost tempted to spend countless hours on it again. I have too many ps2 games I want to catch up with but not enough time. Damn you sleep!

So I've been reading this thread and the FF themes thread, and decided to replay the original NA release. Been loving it, until I decided to get a Danjuro. Stuck in that damn Crystal since Friday, probably 10+ hours of gameplay (had to pause to sleep/work/watch the Caps lose) and I'm on chain 31 of Larva Eaters. Tons of Demon Eyeballs and Arcana, and even two High Arcana. No Danjuro. And I get to look forward to more grinding after work today. Fuck that dagger.

Yeah. I hate the time it takes to get some of the gear. I liked farming some drops so you could get them before they were available in stores. I recall farming a Heavy Lance and whatever the Sand-Sea's Exile NM drops (GK). The drop rate's way too low and usually your over-level for the dungeons. Since the EXP-inhibiting accessories are available early on, should use those if I choose to do it again. I haven't tried farming for the new ultimate weapons, though.

I got up to the Ancient City in the initial play-through and lost interest. I tend play a new/nostalgia game for several hours a day for a week and get burnt out. Been meaning to pick up playing again, I even have the next play-through's jobs and espers drawn out, but I can't bring myself to do it. I want to but I can't for whatever reason.

Finally got my new computer so i can emulate this. Looks and runs fantastic graphically, but I've noticed the sound will kind of glitch/lag/skip however you want to put it occasionally. Anyone know which setting I should mess around with to see if I can eliminate this?

Playing ZJS and made Vaan a monk because I don't really ever plan on using him longer than I have to, but is it ever worth it to use barehands over poles?

I really wanted my Vaan-Monk to go bare-fisted in this version but as I reached the end of the game (after rarely even using him), I realized bare-hands still sucks compared to anything else.

This game looks amazing on 1080p, holy shit. It's pretty close to looking like a next gen game. Just started playing Int. version. Haven't really beat XII since it came out, so I'm excited to be playing through it again. Way late to the party I suppose, but I'm bored, and my new PC can easily handle all maxed settings, so why not?
