    Buying a New Monitor

I'm tired of my old 17" LCD, so I want to upgrade. Currently looking at:
LG E2350V-SN 23" Widescreen HD LCD Monitor with LED Backlight
    Dell ST2410 24" Widescreen LCD
    Samsung P2570 24.6" Widescreen LCD

First, are there any recommendations for nice monitors in the 23-24" range/$200-$300 range? I'd prefer an HDMI connection as well. Thanks!

I have an Asus VW246H that I love. At first, it looked completely wonky due to it not being calibrated correctly. But after that, I came.

I had a nice Gateway FPD2185W, but I wanted a little bit bigger. I still have the Gateway, I'm loaning it to my sister for the time being.

Also, don't buy anything with built in speakers. If you can find a model that you like without the built in speakers for cheaper than a model with built in speakers, you'll be happy. Monitor speakers blow donkey nuts so it's an absolute waste of time.

You can never go wrong with a Dell monitor, they're one of the things Dell actually does really well.

Thanks for the recommendations. I ended up purchasing the Asus 25.5" for $272 with tax from Walmart.com. There's also a $30 rebate, so you can't go wrong walking away with it for $242.

Felt like buying a monitor today, used this thread and felt in love with the 26" Asus, unfortunately shop near my place had it overpriced so I went with the 24" and I'm totally in love with it~
