In one of the options settings you have to tick developer console. Then hit ~/` like any other game.

The speed run times in this game are insane. You can make absolutely zero mistakes and have to use little tricks all over to even get close. Did a couple of them earlier with a friend. Took a lot of work to beat the time for the first map, but it was a lot of fun perfecting the path we took. The second map was a bit easier, but not significantly so. The third one, we're pretty much stumped, don't think it can be done with 2 people but even with more it seems like it will be insanely difficult.

How do you get rid of Parasites? Those little AoE heal-boxes are shite on Hard and I'm too gimp-level for the Medi-Gun.

What did you do for classes and loadouts?

And yeah, some of those speed runs seem like they'd be impossible for two people. The map where you have to use flamethrowers to burn biomass and such has a 2:30 timer, I believe. I don't think you could do it without splitting up and both people using flamethrowers.

Does anyone know if the hand grenades you get for your offhand slot detonate instantly or are they timed like the ones you get with the Vindicator?

Having a lot of fun with this game. Was playing last night with three friends and after we finished the campaign once the game turned into an orgy of flames, map penises, and friendly fire. Whenever our friend who was playing tech would go to work on a door we'd drop incendiary mines all around him and denote them. Then we'd convince him we won't do that anymore and do it again. I nearly threw up I was laughing so hard.

Best game I ever didn't pay for. Got a good bunch of people on my first game, even if we were all playing for the first time and made a bunch of dumb mistakes (tech guy getting stuck on a door for 10 mins while we slowly ran out of ammo, trying to melee or set fire to one another to remove parasites, etc).

I only went on for the TF2 hat, but carried on playing for a good hour or two :3

I never figured out the doors with 1/0's and the arrows. I just hit stuff randomly until it opened :/

Just tried one of the first addons out (Cargo Bay). Its pretty good (Don't know why it ends after 3 waves though)

Also seems there's already a FPS option in the game, its just kinda pointless. Since you lose 360 viewing range. Plus it just feels like Left 4 Dead in space lol.

edit: Forgot to mention. Seems 8 player co-op (two squad) scenarios are in the works.

I'd like that or even Over The Shoulder TPS mode.

If you play the reactor map. At the first tech door to the right there is a console. go up to it and click turret. you will then be in first person w/ the turret. so 1st person is in the game already.
