ADVENTURE TIME: ISLANDS! The 8-Part miniseries begins January 30th. Four consecutive nights of ALL NEW episodes premiering at 7:30/6:30c on Cartoon Network.

If you can’t wait, Islands will also be able on DVD, iTunes, Amazon Video, and Google Play beginning January 24th. But don’t forget that Season 8 begins one day earlier on January 23rd with 5 nights of new episodes that take place before Islands. It’s sort of confusing!

Adventure time Two Swords/Do No Harm

These two episodes immediately follow right where Reboot left off. Finn now has a bionic arm and possibly will be permanent for the rest of the show. I’m glad they gave Grass Finn(Fern) a completely new voice that is more calm and monotone compared to Finn. I found Finn and Fern parallel storytelling worked really well, where we could see Finn trying to do good and Firn trying to feel good. Both stories had in one hand, fun moments, and action moments in the other.

It’s really amazing, I'm not gonna spoil anything beside my quick impression post but everything about Islands is great and the last scene got me in tears.

The quality continues, These episodes are so full of charm, Its just good to have it back to being fun, funny and without bullshit again(let see how long this will last).

Really loved the animation for James Baxter(guest animator James Baxter). you may not know who James Baxter is but he shaped your childhood with his Animation.

That James Baxter twist (origin of his name)...think they had that in mind from the start of his character?

No idea. James Baxter started as the animator's avatar based on his work But they were able to grow the character and convey a good message. I am sure the AT Staff are just happy they got an Animator Legend for two episodes(he only did the dancing scenes).

There is a reason why BMO screams "he makes me so happy". Some of his funny works he Animated.

Elements will premiere on the 24th of April.

Adventure Time -Elements Ep 1-8

After the amazing Island mini series this was a letdown. The Ice Elemental is gone(I don't think they knew what to do with her and just decided to write her off the show). Betty and Ice Kings relationship didn't get solved. Do not waste your money and just wait for official broadcast, you'll enjoy it as a series of fun moments than plot progression.


Only major thing is Jake new look at the end of the mini series.
