The Wii Classic Controller stick is pretty much identical to the N64 one, and I don't have a problem with it for TvC since I don't own an arcade stick that works with my Wii.
But the D-pad on those controllers are asstastic for fighting games so not much choice.

Eh, the dpad is soft and it doesn't kick my ass any more. I guess I got used to all that Rogstar charge and shit.
Anyway, 3d movement = analog, rest = digi.
