Looking for a basic laptop

Needing top buy a new laptop for my mom and i'm looking for a good deal on a very basic laptop. I'm talking like most of the time all she does is facebook and burn music. Anything but a Dell is good. Ideas please.

why against dell? Don't they have decent customer service?

anything asus should be fine too. Real question is.. how much u willing to spend?

Bad experiences in the past with dells and under $500. I found one I like though. If I could get some opinions on it, that would be great.
