As a note, I wouldn't believe that windows system performance rating in the top of your post.
My old GPU was scored higher than my current, better gpu, as well as the one in your post having a higher score than my current, better gpu.

Thanks for that spec build Knyghtmayre! Ill check out the price of shipping and see if it will work out cheaper.
Yea i think ill just upgrade the card when the time comes should i decide to buy this. Iv always gone overboard with PSU wattage when i built and previous machines so im just trying to guage if its sufficent which it seems to be in its current state. I was just told by the seller aswell about the cooler, he said you can get the liquid replaced but its not worth it that it would be better to buy a new cooler at that point. He said they last many years before needing to be changed, is this the case?
The seller actually ran the benchmark for me earlier. He was on his way out to work so he only got to do the low setting. Results are in the screenshot below. Bear in mind it was run on low and at 1280x720 on a 32" LCD. So id imagine with overclocking and a proper monitor it would run a better score. He said he will do a High test for me later after work.

I dont know why he would lie to me about it he has been pretty forthcoming about all specs and the build and its history etc. Im kind of confused are you saying that your old GPU scored a higher score than the one in the image and that you got yourself new cards including the one in this build and it scored higher on that windows test?
He isn't lying about the windows index thing, it is just crap and don't really give you any valuable info.
That's what I was trying to say, I wasn't saying he was lying. It's a terrible tool and you shouldn't believe it.
My old GPU scored higher than my GTX480, and the one in your image scores higher than my GTX480... and we know that obviously thats not the case in any benchmark.
Ahh ok i get you! Sorry didnt realise that scoring system was innacurate.
Is there an actual accurate test you can take that would score a system?
Running a DX11 Benchmark like Heaven gives a pretty good indication of it's capabilities. Also 3dMark Vantage. I'd also like to note that in the FF14 Benchmark that he ran, he did OC the CPU to 3.2GHz apparently <_<
Just a note I get the same score unoverclocked, could be just turboboost? The benchmark is GPU dependant anyway. It will max out a 5770 at least.
Thanks for the info guys!
Sorry for another bump..
Just want to order my monitor just curious what you think is better?

or

Both monitors werent on Newegg so why i didnt link them there!
Thanks they both look the same but wondering why the different prices even before the special discounts.
I see but other than that the same?
The one that is cheaper due to the specials actually costs more when normally priced compared to the other one.. Hmm
I was thkinking of splashing out on this one if it was worth it or was in anyway better and justified spending the extra €30.00
Cheers for that article, good read.
So essentially the 53V is slightly better because of the features outlined in that article? Suppose a €10 wouldnt hurt if it had those little nice extra features.
Had a friend reccomend this one to me but he really does like Samsung which i have to be honest i do aswell but if its not worth the extra €40.00 then i wont bother but if its worth it i will.

Sorry for bumping this! Need more advice/opinions
That PC deal fell through on me so iv come across another one at a decent price. Only trouble is its a Dell XPS. Details are below!
Dell Studio XPS 435MT, Intel Core i7-920 processor(8MB L3 Cache 2.66GHz)
6GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1067MHz
640GB Serial ATA 2 Hard Drive 7200 RPM
16X DVD /-RW
ATI Radeon HD 4350 512MB
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB(Panzer) Application 1.0
Microsoft Windows Vista SP1 Home Premium 64-Bit Edition Edition English
First thing i checked was this model, the XPS 435MT. What the results say is that its a nice machine runs well etc but its a horrible internal design with little or no space for additions and limiting larger coolers etc.
Firstly anyone any experience with XPS machines? Because of the design would the cooling be shite? The CPU looks nice and up to date? RAM decent, sound card too.
GFX card is a pile of shite id replace that anyways with a 5750 or 5850. Apart from that it seems that would be the only improvement i need to make.
Thoughts? This would be cheaper than the asking price for the previous machine. Id replace Vista with Windows 7 too.
I have a dell xps studio 8000 and my mom has a studio 8100 neither have had any issues since we got them, both are from the dell outlet. Looking at the machine you are looking at in the outlet it is pretty expensive compared to the 8000 or 8100, you might want to look into those as well. Now why whenever lately I look to compare prices the outlet is out of the 8000's and the 8100's. I have an Nvidia GTS 240 in both of those and no problems along with i7 processors
You probably won't be able to replace the GFX card with anything better, since Dell probably put a shitty 350w proprietary power supply in that machine.
Also, unless they changed it recently their internal design is real shitty - there's no fan on the stock Dell heatsink, and there's no exhaust fan on the back of the case, and even if there was the CPU socket isn't lined up with the exhaust window on the back of the case anyways. That case would be an oven.
1067MHZ RAM, Why!?
The only decent thing in that setup is the CPU >.>
Hmmm well those last two posts pretty much sum it up for me thanks! I'll stay away
