Wow I have no idea what this was about because the post was already deleted lol whether or not it was a joke what most horomonal birth control does it just make the lining of the uterus hard for a fertilized egg to stick too... So basically you are fertilizing eggs but they just fall out like a miscarrage, it's possible for a fertilized egg to get pretty far and not come out and that is a .01% chance of it actually becoming a full on fetus that is able to develop into a baby...

What? I think you are misinformed about how hormonal birth control works.

Both progesterone and estrogen based hormone birth control primarily work by suppressing or reducing the chance of ovulation. Meaning it tricks your body into thinking it doesn't need to ovulate. Yes estrogen based BC also changes the chemistry of the cervical mucus to make it inhospitable for eggs to latch on but it doesn't make the surface hard. Nor do you continually fertilize and miscarriage the eggs when on hormones. That just isn't the way it works.

Edit: I guess you could be talking about ormeloxifene because that doesn't prevent fertilization but prevents pregnancy another way which I am not too sure about but it sounds a little bit similar to what you are talking about.

Maybe its not horomonal, i forgot exactly. All i know is some types of birth control does that but it is usually during your normal period so you dont notice at all. I have implanon (an implant in my arm) and i'm not sure if its horomonal or not but it does that...

Sounds like you really need to talk to your gynecologist. I wouldn't feel comfortable having some shit implanted in me and I am sure my wife wouldn't either without fully understanding out it works first and the effects it has on your body.

My doctors arent exactly the greatest but I read on it online. I had it for a year already, i forgot. I was on depo provera the every-3-month shot and i could be getting them confused. Honestly dont know, as long as it works lmao
