New Tactics Ogre for PSP

The early levels are tough on deciding what to do. Not exactly sure if I want to keep my main a Warrior or change him to Berserker.

Story characters seem to be stronger than normal units in general. Wait until you get an archer person Personally I struggled with the fight at the beginning where you have to save a girl - until I read about a certain trick to get the attention of enemies she would get killed even before I got half-way to her lol.

So... what "trick" is this? Because this bitch is retarded and dies before I can get ANY of my units close to her. Maybe I can teach Canopus Heal and get over there in time with him...

Get Vyse and the other guest character naked. D: If you're not incredibly unlucky then the NPCs will turn their attention to them instead of ther (as they seem to go after the weakest link at all times).

Did they improve the leveling or is it still Throwing Rocks: The Game?

Most excellent. The PS version had simply too much micromanagement and the retarded leveling system, this sounds much better.

Classes levels are cross over for characters, so the only thing you would need to grind are skills if changing jobs around.

Hah, actually just tried that (before reading this anyway), figured I'd take a note from FF:T and see if it worked here. I only took Leonar's gear off and it still worked fine, was easy to keep him alive long enough to heal Cistina.

XP isn't even, skill points are though. Some classes will get more XP than others in a fight, especially if you have multiple of that class.

Still kinda on the fence about the game. I like SRPGs but all the ones I've played end up being ridiculously easy. Does this one remain challenging throughout or does it hit the inevitable breaking point where you end up trying to solo the game with one character?

I've played SF1 &2, Vandal Hearts, FFT, Agarest of War. None of the Ogre games.

The original is one of the easier SRPGs I've played, still a fun game though.
I don't know about this remake, haven't played it.

Since that one stage that I posted about it has been exceptionally easy here too, aside from that Cistina bitch giving me a Game Over every time she killed herself before I could do anything about it. Hopefully it picks back up again soon, 'cause that necromancer stage was rough if you didn't just zerg rush the leader.

So... got to chapter 2 and damn this game has picked up awesomely. I would have thought the option I took would be the "lawful" route but Denam has gone from Neutral to Chaotic now. I'm still real early in presumably and I'm already looking forward to NG+ so I can see how shit goes down differently if you pick different choices.

Is there a "hard" difficulty setting you can pick from the beginning? Your making me think the games easy Kiarax lol. I'd have to buy a PSP to play it and Dragon Age 2 is right around the corner........Still....on....the....fence.....

i would honestly just head over to your nearest GS. Everyone was sent 2-3 of them and no one preordered the thing. They usually get tossed. If you want to get on the good side of a guy simply ask, and tell him you'll preorder or buy something if he gets you one.
