The girls in this game are... well-endowed.

Quick question about chapter 3 chaotic path... hopefully someone who has played the game before can answer, spoilers obviously:
    Spoiler: show
I just took over Coritanae Keep, afterwards there was a conversation with Catiua and she said she was leaving to return to Golyat. There was a multiple choice thing during the conversation though, is it possible to convince her to stay or does that just effect loyalty? I'm pretty sure if one of the two options was to have her stay the one I chose would have been it, but I'm not sure...

Also I am loving this game. Enough classes and skills to keep progression interesting, awesome story and fun battles that don't end up completely overbearing. It's a little easy (VERY easy if you decide you want to abuse the CHARIOT system, since you can essentially make minor alterations to moves and get a completely different result off the RNG) in most fights, but not too easy that it loses it's fun. Looking forward to seeing how the game plays out differently with each path once I beat it. I assume each path is substantially different given how major the choices are.

It's more than a little easy... without even doing random encounters (so far I haven't done any at all) to get money/sp, etc... I can run over enemies in the story battles without even using the max number of units.
The hardest fight so far has been the one in chapter 1 where the dude summons all the undead, and that was only moderately challenging because I went in with 2 less units than the max and I hadn't upgraded my equip at all yet, and to make things worse my enchantress only had dark magic at the time so all she could possibly do was sleep things with a low % chance

Yeah, the only battle I've died on is the finale for chapter 2 so far.
    Spoiler: show
There was literally no way I could have beat Vyce 1 on 1 with how I had Denam set up. But I just threw a HP+ accessory and HP+10% skill on him and he could take just enough hits like that to live through the fight.

Other than that I haven't really had any troubles. I have had to restart a few fights involving guests a couple of times. But that was just a case of them dying before I could get anywhere near them to keep them alive.

There's a guide on gamefaqs if you wanna bother that describes just what choices you have at what battles and what/if they affect anything. Didn't have much time to play myself because I had some tests so I'm not up to that point yet :<

No. PSN encompasses both PS3 and PSP games in digital format, it's how PSP Go users get their gaming fix.

I hope it's ok to let non critical guests to 'die/warp', because the AI in this game is terrible.

Fairly certain it just results in a minor loyalty loss, which isn't a big deal.

Am I the only one who hates the new leveling system? Takes a stupid amount of time to level new classes from 1. It doesn't even make sense.

Not sure if serious. If I swap someone to a new level 1 class, they jump to 5 in the first battle, then usually 7 (or damn close) the next. Takes almost no time at all to get them caught up, and the game is easy enough to just leave one character chilling at the starting location so you don't have to worry about keeping them alive. Certainly sucks having them be useless at first, but oh well. They'd be like that even if characters leveled classes individually.

I just think it's irritating having to sit out one of my main characters for several battles before they become useful again. Maybe I could just recruit a random generic to level the class up while not handicapping a main unit.

Just read a pretty decent post on lolGamefaqs about how stats work now. Note sure if anyone else posted before, figured I'd share: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/99944...ether/58148270

    tl;dr:
Not everybody here is getting the full message...

Let me summarize the post for you.

TC has discovered that levelling a job all the way from 1 to 50 yielded about 5 base stat points for everything. This is a significantly smaller result than the JP version. In other words, the need to micromanage classes to get the highest base stats is basically gone.

HOWEVER, most people missed the part where he said that the actual jobs have much higher stat bonuses now. In other words, changing into the actual job itself gives more stats in the EN version.

So you're not weaker in the English version. Your stats just come more from your job than the individual unit's leveling.

I read something about how it worked in the JP version, glad they fixed that as it was retarded.

Just hit Chp4 by way of Law.

I dont remember this game being as dissapointing as it is.. I had a much more enjoyable time with FFT (both PSP and PS1); I guess FFT being an older game learned from past mistakes or something. I dunno, the difficulty is wack; it goes from push over easy, then the last few Clp3 battles are stupid hard in the only thing you can do is turtle down, and try to zerg the leader asap.

This game also doesnt favor new additions at all. Granted you can level them up real quick if it's a new class, and it's nice if theyre not a new class to be current level, but the skill points are slowly gained. Ive been rolling with the original team I was given at the start (all females) with their original jobs, and using some of the story added people, which may be my problem, but aside from that ive felt no need to pain myself in going out of the way to job change or hire people as it's a pain.

Yeah the story is nice, and the wheel of time is a god send, but just something about the job system that irks me. Also, where the hell is a 'try on' function for the shop. I kind of remember why I forgot about the original as I always thought FFT was a better game.

Idk, im still having an all right time with it though.
