So I recently bought a new computer and I guess in the shipping process it got banged around a little because there is a bolt loose on the cpu cooler. I tried to tighten it back up but the bolt has a circle head with no grooves or anything on top, which makes it difficult to hold in place. I'm guessing the nut or bolt or both are stripped because even trying to hold the bolt head and bottom in place while attempting to screw the nut I can't get it to tighten. I have tried to hold both the nut and bolt in place and tighten the other but it doesn't seem to be working. It would probably be easy if the bolt wasn't flat and circle.
I can obviously send it back to the company and get it repaired for free, but they said it could take like two weeks or so which is retarded. I am wondering if anyone knows a way to fix this, that I haven't thought of or somewhere I can take this to fix it for really cheap(live in MD near DC/VA). The two places I called both wanted like $60, which seems ridiculous for what is probably one loose bolt/nut.
Thanks for any help. I tried to google a little but I didn't really find anything helpful and the repair guys I talked to just said to ship it back.
CPU Cooler is a Coolermaster V8 btw on an i7 chip.
