    Monitor Sleeping

Ok so the other day I was moving my desktop to a new room in the house and after I had it all setup it was working fine. Then next day after booting up the comp my monitor would keep making itself go to sleep. Tried on another comp and it worked fine. If I start the computer up and leave it at the windows login screen, it will stay on but as soon as I login it only takes a few minutes for it to sleep. Only changes I made to computer was installing a new wireless keyboard/mouse. Anyone got suggestions? So far all I've heard is that it could be the power supply needing to be replaced, which sucks since the computer is not even 2 years old.

do you have any settings for the monitor to go to sleep after several minutes of no activity? are there any drivers for the keyboard/mouse you have not installed? can you test with a wired keyboard/mouse?

Do you have another monitor to test with? it could be an issue with the monitor not the pc.

don't have another monitor though I suppose I could hook it to the TV. I keep trying to go to the menu on monitor and keeps going to sleep as soon as I hit menu button even if the computer is off. Could it be the power cord itself? Having to use my wife's stupid netbook just to get on internet is annoying. Atom processor sucks
