Guess what, some tests go back 7 years. Tell him what he's failed bob! That's right, a Drug test!
it's 3 months every 1.5 inches
I'm a male
good try though
Thanks wikipedia
The obvious solution for you is to remove all of the hair on your body before the test.
Sorry, Demo, I have to admit I didn't read the OP very well. My apologies.
The entire body isn't that bad or hard to shave... the only awkward part is the eyebrows. It's so noticeable and awkward. My step-brother had to do it after losing a football bet, and since he already bic's his head, it looked amazing.
Honestly you are probably fine if you've only done weed. Don't think thc sticks to hair very well... Just do whatever you can to make your hair grow faster in the mean time (whatever that may be) and then buzz it the night before the test. Shave your junk too, that's the next most obvious spot to get the hair from. Should pretty much force them to take a short follicle from your head.
Yeah but also, if you come in with all your shit freshly shaved, they're gonna know you're trying to hide something. And even if it was only weed and they don't care, it doesn't bode well to purposely raise suspicion about your habits.
The place doing the drug test is usually some outsourced facility that has barely any contact with the employer at all other than being the place they use for new hires. So coming in freshly cut probably wont even get back to the employer as long as they get enough hair to test with.
Still man, even this example doesn't fly with me. I mean, sure the guy can do drugs on the weekends to relax or whatever, it's his own goddamn business. Doesn't mean that because he has drugs in his system he was high while he got hurt at work (which could've very well be a cause of injury I'll give you that).
To me, drugs become a problem when you are using at your job or in any situation where you should be serious. (School etc..)
Basically if you're productive at work your boss shouldn't have a say in wtf you do of your free time. (Well unless you rape babies, yeah, I could understand raping babies as giving off a bad image for the company.)
I just don't understand how you guys can put up with that bullshit, seriously.
Well, I guess you don't have a choice.
It's illegal, and the prevailing logic is if it's in your system, even if it's not the root of the problem, it's likely going to be related.
And either way, it presents a risk to the employer hiring someone who could get busted for drugs, wasting the money spent on training, etc.
Sell drugs. Problem solved.
This. Bottom line is it's illegal.
I don't care what ethical tap-dancing you want to do to justify it in your head, as of right now it's illegal (in most places). If you don't like it and you don't like the consequences you can choose to rebel against the system, man, or stop doing it.
If you want to keep smoking pot and doing drugs you take the responsibility for whatever shit happens because of it.
I really am so sick of the pseudo-morality based fucking arguments. You don't like it? Work harder to get it changed or shut the fuck up. Until it's changed it is illegal. You run the same risks as anyone else doing anything illegal. And don't quote me the "an unjust law is made to be broken" trite revolutionary bullshit. All revolutionaries and martyrs throughout history broke laws knowing full well the trouble they would face and faced it willingly. They didn't bitch and moan about it while trying to "change the world".
I really, really, really, have zero sympathy. It's like getting full sleeve tattoos and gauges in your ears and then going for an internship in a polo shirt at a fortune 500 company executive level position. Guess who isn't getting that job?! Shit is the way it is and has been since before you started smoking pot, shut the fuck up about it, seriously.
none of what you said is applicable to this thread or situation at all.
It is. You are around my age and you have responsibilities. High school is a far way behind. You wanted to go to fucking China where if they wanted to, could lock you up for drug trafficking for 50+ years and refuse extradition.
You really, really, really didn't think any of this through.
If you wanted to improve your life the first thing that should have gone were the drugs. I don't care if it was once in the past two months or once in the past two years. There are consequences and you deal with them until you're past them. It doesn't matter if you were too dense as a younger kid to realize the error of your ways, you still deal with the consequences. I dropped out of high school and now I realize it was a bad idea, does that mean I now immediately should be regaled for my intellect and have my errors ignored? Fuck no. I have to start back from scratch where I would've started 6 years ago.
It's how life works. Thinking otherwise means you're still a kid inside your head. You owe it to yourself, your girlfriend, and your future to grow the fuck up.
Edit: Not to mention you were trying to get your shit together before I even came to Cerberus some 4? months ago, and you were still spending money on drugs? Or at the very least risking your circumstances to fucking get high?
That's some irresponsible shit right there. You need to adjust your perspective.
