Art style is so bad. Either make it all retro or all enhanced 3D, don't give me a shitty mix of both.

they need to show more than megaman 2 "HD remix" with alternate costumes. looks pretty meh so far. i know this is minor but its all i can focus on, the back leg is sposed to be perpendicular to the ground, not have that weird bend in it
This looks fucking awesome
Fuck yes, do want now.

Theres no reason that a game company should be able to get away with making a 2-D Side-scroller game in this day and age.
I loved Megaman X~X3, Megaman 8, that Megaman DS Game, and the other 20 2-D Sidescroller Megaman games, infact one of my Favorite SNES games was Megaman X3, But the repeated flooding of Megaman games that are shitty 2-D Rehashes of older Megaman games resold to you for 10~15$ a pop is ridiculous.
Hell Megaman legends began what should have been a glorious opening to the 3D World of Megaman, instead they simply defaulted to rehashing played out SNES 2-D Games, despite the nearly fanatical fanbase that the 3D (or semi-3D Megaman games like Megaman battlenetwork) Have created.
I love Megaman, but i don't love the idea of continually replaying the same 2D Game over and over, theres only so many ways you can rehash the "Cave" level, or the "Airport" level or the "Underwater" level.
And I don't see how any gamer would welcome the idea of playing the same 2D Game over and over with small changes and gimics like "play as other Capcom characters!"
Old games like Megaman can successfully migrate to the 3D World, Mario did it just fine, i believe Megaman would make a great 3D Game. Nostalgia jizzing over 2D Megaman games is great, but actually praising a company for pumping out dozens of cloned 2D games is stupid, either let the series die with its head held high and good games under its belt, or try to migrate into actually making games that wouldn't fit right in place with shit from 1998.

I hate sounding like the 12yrold who thinks Video games didn't exist before Halo, but i needed to get that off my chest =(
I love Megaman, really, But i know it could be so much better... I love countless 2D Games, Castlevania/etc, But i think Megaman is one of the few 2D Games from earlier generation that would make an absolutely fantastic 3D Game, If they would actually just try.
I know i'm going to get a tongue lashing for this -.-;
Edit: I know its probably pointless to point out, what with im sure anyone reading this post is only going to see "Blah blah blah halo blah blah blah idiot", But i did enjoy the last couple of 2D Megaman Games, and i'm sure this one will be fun too.
I think a 3d Megaman would probably play somewhat like Ratchet and Clank, because simply adding depth to the 2d doesn't really do much
I'm glad Capcom is keeping it 2D. If they want to make a 3D Mega Man go back to Legends or a new Series that doesn't suck. (I'm looking at you Star Force)
They tried 3D before and It really didn't add a lot. MM is a 2D game. It's like trying to make sonic 3D. Shit just doesnt work (as has been proven time and time again)
Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 were amazing.
Megaman can do 3D, Legends proves it. X7 wasn't the worst game I ever played, but definately the worst Megaman game I ever played, and I've pretty much played them all, even that Wonderswan shit.
I Know 1 or 2 of the 3D Sonic Games were actually pretty fun/decent games.
Megaman can make a good 3D Game, as Metah said, MMLegends proves that. I Certainly don't claim its the best game ever, but they could pull it off.
I more or less imagine a 3D "Megaman X"/etc game would play like the Metroid Prime series, more or less the same general platforming idea except instead of walking left to right, theres a larger more satisfying playing area to explore.
But, So long as the game is good i'll play it, i just wish Capcom would put more effort into making a good 3D Megaman than pumping out Dime-a-Dozen 2D megaman games for 10$ a pop.
Megaman was one of my favorite childhood games, i hate that its pretty much stayed a 2D Sidescrolling "Level by level" SNES-grade platforming Game, which, although fun, get old with time, While my other favorite games (Mario, Metroid Series, etc) have all succesfully (in my eyes -.-) Evolved to accommodate the 3D Era.
Mostly cause i truly feel Megaman could make an amazing 3D Game, just as Metroid and Mario have (to say the least)
For its time, Legend was somewhat close to it. Lot of weapons, fun bosses, great characters. The platforming elements needed some improvement, but still, it had some fun stuff (hover shoes, high jump). Give it a ps2/ps3 era treatment, and you probably end with something similar to Ratchet and Clank.

Hell yes, so it's LittleBigMegaman basically.
I wonder how many Robot Masters and tile sets they are including. I doubt they want the engine capable enough to recreate all the original games though.
Fuck ya at Roll & Scissor Man combo.
I hope there is a LBP style single/co-op main story though, and it's not just a customizable game
I spy some metalman arms and torso! As long as I can make a 100% complete quickman, complete with head, I will purchase this product, good sir.
Not sure how many other people were looking forward to this, but unforunately you can stop.
Mega Man Universe canceled.
Fuck!
Inafune left, so yeah, inevitable. It's a shame really, I wanted some other studio to do Little Big Planet except fun to play.
Dang, I was looking forward to it also. What's next, them ditching Legends 3 also?
