Yeah I meant specifically the cr.mk > CA part, and you actually kind of hit exactly my point, that the meter is best saved for something like a Cross Cancel, which is another mega-old SF mechanic. I know that using a single switch is optimal, but for lack of a better description, using multiple switches is what would have been 'cool' or more innovative to me and been much more fun, but it's incredibly inefficient to do so.
I'm not even specifically trashing the game as it's very apparent that v.2013 is greatly improved and I'll leave out the argument that it should have been this way at launch, it's just that it largely doesn't feel like I'm playing a new game really when you boil it down. They could have just added TK characters as some sort of SF4 DLC and netted the same result I guess, but the potential was built into the framework of the game.
At the least I believe Pandora changes are a great step, in that they make one of the unique things of the game actually feasible to use now, just seems like they designed the game with so much potential, then actively worked to make most of it not worth doing.
