I thought Vega was an odd choice, he just doesn't seem very friendly to the games engine. Lots of characters show cool combos, and Vega is like... two jabs into scarlet terror >_>

if I understand correctly from what capcom said, they changed the E3 engine (which let you hit jugglestate oponents endlessly I thin) into, 2x normal hit + special attack. The enemy was in jugglestate, thus you saw 2x jabs into scarlet terror. I wouldnt judge Vegas comboability from just that one juggle attack.

I rally hope they are not done with the announcement of the chars! God can we fuckign have Karin finally!

The full char reveal list has been known for awhile....also anyone who tries to debunk this list after the Pacman/Megaman thing today is just a total moron.

The guy called out Pacman/Megaman back in November.

The list provides 51 characters + 1 console specific character for each would be my guess to make an even 52. Other than Vita which I guess would have 53/54, unless Vita's roster is trimmed down.

Tekken X Street Fighter’s Roster Is (Partially) Up To You

Capcom announced four more characters for Street Fighter X Tekken and teased a surprise. Who’s in the roster in the Namco Bandai counterpart, Tekken X Street Fighter? That’s going to be up to fans, says Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada.



While responding to a fan asking if Poison and Karin are going to be in the game, Harada said he’s planning a Tekken X Street Fighter roster vote on the Tekken Facebook page. Dan and Roger’s inclusion into the game is partially up to you! Harada also casually mentioned he’s considering a PlayStation Vita version of Tekken X Street Fighter. He’s also considering a special gauge for the Street Fighter characters, so the game is still very early in development.

Quick Combos

Beginners can also take advantage of this new system!

Street Fighter X Tekken features a Quick Combo system! Quick Combos are preset combos that can be unleashed by pressing 2 buttons (Light Punch + Heavy Kick) at the same time. However, it costs 1 block of the Cross Gauge to use a Quick Combo. There is a consequence to using them, but players who have trouble with combos will find them very helpful!

Ryu's Preset 1 Quick Combo has a Cross Rush (Light, Medium, Heavy, Heavy attack) with a Launcher recorded! Use a Quick Combo to easily unleash a Cross Rush!
The Quick Combo command can be recorded on the button of your choice from the Controller Settings menu!

It's possible to now deal damage all at once without the need for difficult commands!

I don't even...while I'm glad that Capcom realizes that accessibility is an issue with their games, they're going about the solution all wrong. They should be getting beginners into the games with better tutorials/training options/challenge modes and openly providing frame data, not by adding one-button modes that become a crutch, which makes it even harder to transition to higher levels of play.
