capcom already has enough of my money. Fuckem lol
The capcom-unity article mentions that it will be released on PS3, 360, and PC at the same time. If that's the case for PC, this shit's gonna be on my arcade cabinet pronto!

Safe to say the game is still in the early stages.
Anyone get a feeling of 3rd Strike Tag?
Nothing is 3s without parrys o.O
evil ryu @ 1:05? or just finishing the ultra? wonder how many evil/devil/angel hidden characters they put in.
Volient Ken where you at!?
What's up with Chun-Li's Hyakuretsukyaku/Lighting Legs having their input changed from repeatedly tapping the kick button to HCF+K?
Not only that, it's chargeable...
@0:52
Chun Li's move inputs get changed a LOT. More than any character in SF. She has HCF legs and HCF Hado in several other games.
My guess is the charge part acts as a focus or parry when the lightning hits her body and she flashes for 1 frame.
This game looks like it will mostly be target combos, thank God.
Not only that, juggles. Juggles are the hallmark of the Tekken series and according to early reports from the Captivate build, almost every aerial produces a juggle state. For example, Chun-Li's Tenshokyaku Target Combo leads to her aerial double fierce punch target combo. This could make for some really interesting game play. Also, Tagging replaces focus attack (same buttons) and serves almost the same purpose (keeping moves safe, keeping combos going).
The only thing I disagree with is you lose the round if 1 of your 2 characters is K.O.'d...that just seems a little awkward to me.
that's one thing i never understood about tekken. perhaps its because i never got into it, but as far as i know, 1 juggle could mean death? lol. i see it at tournaments. one dude will mash out in-between a mixup and successfully land a juggle, and keep going and going, ang going.. and going.. and going. i'm not a hater or anything. but i'd hate for 1 mistake to cost me 75-100% of my life (hello yun and chun from SF3)
Oh wow, this actually looks pretty bad ass. As long as this shit doesn't turn into another Turtle Fighter I'm happy. Only gripe I have is that they decided to keep the retarded looking models from SF4 but whatever.
Mashing is death (no fighting game with "block" is it not) in Tekken, but the juggles/combos aren't hard at all. The hard part is getting an opening.
Either way, game is putrid.
Virtua Fighter?
Anyways, as someone who played some competitive Tekken during college with the guys at the arcade scene, I really started to hate the game at high level. There's spacing and proper blocking and the like, but character balance never really made sense to me. Characters with multiple good pokes seem to always lead to combos dealing 50~100% (I'm looking at you T5 Steve) when the rest of the cast seems to have less options and deal somewhere in the 30%~45% for a BnB.
You can be incredibly skilled but there doesn't seem to be much of a reason to play a character who has to fish for 3 openings with inferior tools versus a top tier in Tekken where fishing for one opening wins you the round. There's high risk high reward characters like Paul and Raven...and then you have low risk and even higher reward characters like Steve or Nina. It's brain dead obvious who you pick at high level play.
I realize in T6, they remedied this greatly but ever since my experience with high level play in T5 . . . it ruined what interest I had in the game.
This looks pretty badass. Capcom knows how to make a good trailer.
