As much as I'm not into the whiteknighting, I do find it funny how many people, including Sherry, completely threw Miranda under the bus saying it was her fault for not manning up and protesting everything earlier.

That Chun combo was a whole fuckload of work for only like 35% of a bar lol

Looks like damage scaling totally killed that combo around hit 30-35. Now if that combo continues to build stun that's another story.

No idea, and I had to watch those vids to catch up on last night, but holy shit. I do feel bad for Miranda, even if she could have technically done more. She really didn't know what she was getting herself into, though. She had to have realized what the FGC really is like. :/ Gotta ignore them stream monsters, and Aris is the living embodiment of "Troll".. well him and Ono.

Eh, don't feel bad for her at all. Should know known or done 5 minutes of research to see who was your coach / on your team. She set her gender back in the fighting game scene (lol) by not being able to handle it.

The overwhelming sentiment from SRK seems to be that it's her fault for not knowing that Aris does shit like that and for not speaking up and telling him to fuck off earlier, lol. This is why FGC and eSports will never mix, eSports is a job, not a hobby, and you can't do this kind of shit at work.

Yeah, she should have done her research, but she went in foolishly thinking that this was gonna be a walk in the park sort of thing without the drama. Honestly, if she'd been on Team SF, I think she could have done a lot better. While Sherry's used to bein' around a bunch of dudes (Heyo!) and is used to that sort of trolltastic bullshit, this chick.. I didn't even know who the hell she was.

Still, white knighting for Aris because it's 'how he is' is the exact problem with the FGC.. at least in some circles. That shit's uncalled for.

A look into Aris would have told her that he talks a lot of shit, but I don't think it would have told her that he'd be a fucking creeper on her all day err day. I agree that she should have said something earlier, but acting like he didn't do anything wrong is retarded.

Agree with this. You're not going to get enough big-name sponsors to back the FGC when they act like this. As hilarious as it is to watch, and as much as I love the whole vibe that these tournies and players have, its just not gonna work. The FGC isn't gonna want to temper themselves, the streammonsters don't want to see some white-washed, scrubbed version of these matches, and the real sponsors aren't gonna front money on something that could potentially blow up in their face as soon as some "hype" F-bombs are dropped.

That being said, the actual SXT is shaping up to be exactly what I was hoping it'd be.

I suck at fighting games. I'm a scrub. Should I still get this game or just do the FGC a favor and avoid it so I don't dilute it with more sucktitude?

Everything I've seen indicates that SFxTK is supposed to be somewhat scrub-friendly, especially compared to SF games.
