Julia confirmed
Capcom Unity has a live stream of this up for those who want to see more of it in action.
Edit: Of course they change it to another game. They'll be showing more SFxT later along with 3rd Strike though, along with an interview with Ono on SFxT
SSF4 style Cammy in SFxT, not the nerfed AE, O GLORIOUS DAY!!!
Thank god they put SSF4 Cammy Style into that game, she's gonna need all the instant dive kicks to apply sick pressure to the Tekken cast!
Is Rufus confirmed to be in the game? He better be, or my Rufus X Bob dream combination will fizzle.

Ono: Expect to see people in SFxT that didn't make it into SF4
Capcom's Yoshinori Ono participated in a long interview session Tuesday afternoon at E3 2011, and provided new details on Street Fighter X Tekken, Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition and some of their other fighting games.
Hit the link below to check out categorized bullet points of the notable stuff he mentioned and you can also find a video replay of the interview, if you want to check out the hour long piece.
• Mentioning that this is a big hint, Yoshinori said that he's working on bringing back characters that didn't make the cut for Street Fighter 4 into Street Fighter X Tekken. You'll see some characters that you haven't seen in awhile.
• Ono added that if SFxT matches up with Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition's roster, which is 39 characters, that means about 15-20 fighters on each side, so SSF4's roster will have to be trimmed down a bit to keep the sides even. Yoshinori mentioned that if the roster gets beyond 40 fighters, it gets a bit difficult to memorize moves and stuff.
• Capcom is going to try and tone down the teasers in the future, because as many people have stated, they aren't really teasers trailers because they show who the fighters are.
• They don't want to cut any features they had in SF4, they want to add on to it, not take away with SFxT. This was in response to if the game has a rivals mode, but it implies an overall approach as well.
• There's a "Cross Rush" system in place which is basically a Chain Combo setup going from Light 2x/Medium/Hard to do combos.
• The game won't have a really deep story mode like there is in Mortal Kombat 9, which Ono said they knocked out of the park, but you will see a story mode like you've seen in previous Capcom fighters. Yoshinori did say they're looking at doing something like the MK9 guys did in the future though, *wink* *wink*.
• "Big surprising announcements," for SFxT at Comic-Con.
• They're trying to blend the art styles of SF4 and Tekken characters, using more saturated colors and thicker lines to try and find a balance.
• They want to see how the YouTube upload feature works for SF3 3s OE before they commit to putting it into Street Fighter X Tekken. They didn't say one way or the other whether this would be included or not.
• Capcom staff grabbed copies of Tekken 6 and have been studying them on how to add the Namco characters into SFxT. The Namco guys that have seen their characters in game have been happy with how they're being implemented.
• The "watery" graphic effect seen in the SFxT trailers will show up when doing things like Launchers and the Cross Rush, similar to the ink effect when doing a Focus Attack in SF4.
• Expect more news about the Vita version of SFxT at Comic-Con, especially about Cole from inFAMOUS.
• Creating a fighting game with all new characters doesn't sound likely. Ono said it goes against the philosophy he wants to work with where he wants to keep things familiar for fighting game fans, without changing up the tool set and the rule book they're used to playing under. If they were to do something new, it'd still probably incorporate elements of their previous fighters.
• Capcom doesn't have immediate fighting game plans for the Wii U, but it is an interesting platform and they're looking at it.
• It was said that nothing has been decided about Darkstalkers yet. Ono still wants to make it, but the project hasn't official been pushed through.
• If a new Capcom vs. SNK were to happen, it wouldn't be announced any time soon, as there are a lot of hurdles to overcome.
• SSF4 Arcade Edition content on the 3DS is something they'll consider, but there's also the chance to do something else entirely instead of just the AE upgrade, as the 3DS has a lot of potential.
what I really would like to sea is a 4 player possibility where each person controls 1 char. off and online. I know some wouldnt like it, but I would find it actually fun!
Looks like hidden in the official trailer are the following characters, pretty much confirming they are going to be playable characters in the game:
Steve Fox
Asuka Kazama
Lili
Dhalsim

Don't know if its old news, but ppl who played it at E3 are calling it a mix of MvC3 and SFIV. Gonna be really awesome if this is the case.
Give me my fucking Rufus! TEAM FAT AMERICAN NINJA must rise!
The playable E3 version will be at Comic Con :3
Excitement
They've said it's actually going to be a new build with a few more characters at Comic Con which means possibly even an updated UI with not shitty health bars.
I'm sure they are going to have a SFxTekken tourny like they did last year for the early MvC3 build. Wonder if Jwong, The San Diego top players, ect... Will be there again.
And thank god about the health bars, so ugly
Got to play this game at East Coast Throwdown 3 this past weekend and it was a blast, albeit Skullgirls felt like a much more polished game at this point in it's development.
That being said, here were a couple of things I noticed:
-Throws are awful. They have less range than most jabs do and have HUGE tech windows (not quite BlazBlue tech windows but still pretty long)
- Most SFIV combos were still possible for the SFIV cast but at the end of the day there really felt like there was no reason to use them when you could just simply do s.LP, s.MP, s.HP, Launch, s.LP, s.MP, s.HP, EX Move
- Chun-Li seems vastly superior to every character in the cast. Half Circle inputs for Kikoken and Senretsukyaku (HCF HCF + KKK) as well as QCF+K for Lightning legs makes for some silly combos. Aerial Target Combo to crouching series xx Lightning Legs into either a jump cancel (yes you can jump cancel the legs and continue for an aerial combo) or tag cancel to continue the combo is just silly. More so than that, you can cancel that series into either her other target combo (Tenshokyaku) for big damage (enough time for the next character to come in and essentially combo into a Super) or combo into Spinning Bird Kick and tag cancel for either a combo or a powerful reset/mixup. You combine this with a hella fast walk speed and the longest range normals and she's just...wow.
-I talked to Seth Killian. QCF+K legs are here to stay for SFxT and most likely for good. Expect this to be Chun's new LL input for every game post SFxT unless fans cry foul and want it back the way it was. The reason it's QCF+K now is Seth's suggestion and they're gauging reactions to it in the preview builds...and since it's so positive it'll stick.
-Chun's instant overhead (j.RH) doesn't work.
-Chun's cl.M causes a ground bounce into a juggle state. You're free to combo anything, even super.
-Bob's walk speed is atrocious. It's probably like 1/5th of Juri's Chocolate walk speed. Yes, it's that slow. He pretty much has to dash or jump to move around. I guess this is to offset how fast and powerful his moves/pokes are. Did I mention like everything he does hits hard and seems to cause some sort of ground bounce?
-Julia seems awful. Her pokes are slow and don't reach nearly as far as Chun or Sagat. Her dash punch (QCF+P) comes out too slow to combo off of anything but a launcher, and you get more damage out of a simple magic series into an Elbow (QCB+P). Her command spin (QCF+K) is useful for getthing through zoners but both of the follow ups (K for a spinning kick, H for a launcher) are too slow to be used in combos and are unsafe on hit. The only use I could find for the move was to spin and launch a Ryu and even then the timing is too strict cause it comes out so god awfully slow. J.Roundhouse has very good range though. Definitely feels like the worst character as no one was able to figure out how to beast with her all weekend.
-Kazuya is EZMODO. Lots of damage. Lots of reach. Good speed. Super (QCF QCF + PPP) & EX Spin Kicks (QCB+KK) are easy as piss to combo into. I couldn't figure out how to land EX Punch (QCF+PP) for the life of me. I usually used his command punch (QCF+P) as a juggle ender. The EX would cause them to fall after the first hit whether or juggle or standing and the auto follow up Lightning Uppercut would just whiff. Luckily, I'd recover as they were standing up.
-Kazuya has his Mishima 1,1,2 from Tekken (s.LP, s.LP, s.MP) and it causes a cinematic hard knockdown which you can use for some setups while they're waking up.
-I don't play Cammy but she's almost as silly as Chun. Lots of damage, TKCS is there, very fast, good pokes, easy combos.
-Marduk is much better than I thought. His anti-air options are very good and pretty damn fast/safe. Think Abel's falling sky but it comes out and recovers in just a few frames. If you EX it, you get a ground bounce for a combo. One of his moves has tons of invincibility which I'm sure you've seen on streams. His pounce attack into throw is very fast and makes for an amazing wake up tool. It's hard to react to and I wasn't really able to ever punish it reliably. He has an EX Command Grab that causes a wall bounce but no one was able to figure out any way to combo off of it besides Tag Cancel but 2 meters for what could at best be like 1 or 2 hits into an EX Shoryu seems like a waste of 3 bars.
-Sagat is still the same as SFIV...just much less damage but that's cause everyone does low damage. I feel like Tiger Uppercut recovers much slower than I remember in vanilla/chocolate/AE but that might just be because it's the same speed and everyone else moves much faster now.
-This game feels naked without a focus attack/parry. Seth said that double heavies is a counter but no one really figured out how to get it working.
Next time you talk to Seth K, make sure Rufus gets put in the game. I must have the fat duo.
Most likely not gonna get to talk to him again any time soon. He was just chilling next to the setups, eating pizza (white pizza by the looks of it!), and fielding any questions people wanted answered so I was picking his brain for some info. It's not like I know the guy lol
No excuses, Tifa. You will get Rufus confirmed.
I may have missed it somewhere, but you can cross up characters in this, right? Pick one SF char & one Tekken char? Every single video I have seen is just both on the same side. Would be kinda shitty if you can't mix em up. Or maybe I just haven't been following the game enough since it's due out in like a year.
Sweet, thanks for clearing that up. Though it'd be pretty dumb if you couldn't.
