Link timing looks a lot harder in this from watching them do trial mode the other day. Even the people with good execution who play SF4 were having trouble with it for a while. But I suppose those aren't a necessity and you'll get used to it soon enough if you just practice it.

Everything I've seen indicates that SFxTK is supposed to be somewhat scrub-friendly, especially compared to SF games.

From everything I can tell, it has some very basic combos (ABC-Launcher) for beginners, but the game looks MUCH more in-depth and advanced than SF4 in terms of expert level techniques, inputs, and timing. More options in general.

I think anyone expecting it to be easier than SF4 is in for a rude awakening.

I'm guessing it's not harder, just different. Regardless of how they alter moves there'll always end up being 1-framers and such, I'd guess that standard bnbs are going to be easier in this game than they were in SF4 by a longshot.

I think it's going to be more like MvC/GG/BB/etc where instead of just being a SFish matter of plinking to hit a tight link there'll be more manual 'wait # frames before next input' to make shit work, especially with juggle combos.

LOL. I just didn't want to ever go into the RRoD syndrome like many of my friends have, and I haven't console'd it up in a while anyway. Needs more port to the PC and play with everyone theeere.

360-S has the same failure rate as PS3s, I wouldn't make it a real base of concern anymore. Newer consoles are high tech devices with lots of moving parts, eventually something will break, but if you install the games that you play regularly to the HDD to cut down on disc spinning and keep the system clean and ventilated you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Plus don't you make doctor wages lol?

I'm a little sad to see how Sagat will be nullified by all of the projectile dodging dashes and command dashes, especially on the Tekken side.

Re: Aris and Miranda - It's everyone's fault. It's Aris' fault for going in non-stop. It's Miranda's fault for not calling his shit out on stream. It's Capcom's fault for not getting involved and putting a kibosh on it (instead, they focus on swearing). Sherry and co. did mention that they were willing to interject, and even though Miranda turned it down, they should have spoke up. There is not a single individual there that is not at fault.

That being said, she put herself out of the situation as gracefully as she could. She was looking for an exit pretty hard - combination of stress from being one of the final 4 and from Aris' stuff. She does deserve a bit of a ribbing for not being prepared, though.
