that's how all of the GS tournaments were for vanilla afaik. my guess is they don't want to set up an open console to accommodate stick players 'cuz they're afraid it's going to get stolen.

Correct. Most stores don't even own 2 arcade sticks (most sell out around here).

Wonder if the GS here is having a day 0 tourney. Haven't played a fighting game on a pad in forever but tempted as hell to try if it amounts to a free copy lol.

Most likely. The SFIV tourney that GS had when vanilla released was for the 360 but our regional GS decided to use PS3 setups. But hey, everyone's gonna be a scrub and be handicapped equally.

Also, i'll be bringing one of my EVO monitors, possibly bring both, there will be setups to play the game afaik. It really depends on how big the crowd is. Also on XBOX and BYOC.

thats what mine did for the mahvel tournies.. i went to about 3 of them and 2 SF4 tournies.
My scene is small theres like 6 of us.. that actually take time to learn a combo.

And my shitty viper bodies them all.

Just passed by my GameStop and found out they're having a midnight tourney at the launch party and they'll let me use my stick! Never touched the game before and I have no idea what to expect but I'm hoping I do well off the strength of my Bison lol.

so Karin was left out due to copyright issues with the Manga Artist. While Ono didnt say that the Artist denied to give Karin to Capcom for SFxT, Ono also doesnt mention that they tried to get her in. Come on there was so much Fan-Demand for Karin and they didnt even give it a shot! This is really disapointing -_-
