loool this just keeps getting better...the initial reports on netcode was that the audio rollbacks sucked, but it was nice and fluid input-wise...but that was back when only a handful of people had the game. Now that there's real server stress responses are flooding in that the netcode is miles worse that SF4/MvC3.

Why would server stress affect the netcode? Are you not connected directly to your opponent? Just sounds more like people with shit connections getting matched up now that people actually own the game.

I'll try it tonight, but if online play is really as bad as it's sounding right now, I probably won't play it (like vanilla MVC3).

They should consider making updates to their netcode on games or at least explicitly state that they plan to. This netcode in this game is garbage and compareable to KOF12

This is... So terrible... Wow i cannot fathom this game, back to umvc3 online and keep this game offline only. The audio desyncing throws me off so badly.

For some people, sound is a big thing when doing combos and hit confirming. That shit is godawful with this game. Aside from that, haven't experienced horrible lag (yet).

Looks like I'll have to get used to playing with no sound if I want to play online though.

2 player Street Fighter X Tekken co-op mode on Xbox 360 won't be fixed, problem on Microsoft's end

Bad news for people hoping to play the 2 player co-op mode in Street Fighter X Tekken with an in-person friend against others online on the Xbox 360, as Capcom USA vice president, Christian Svensson, recently explained the situation.

Will 2 player local co-op on Xbox Live be patched in for the 360 version of Street Fighter X Tekken? — Weegee

Svensson: It will not be patched and apologies for the manual inclusion. Seems it was an oversight. The difference has to do with how Xbox Live differs from how it handles online and offline accounts.

According to the team:

"PS3 version: It is possible to mix and match online and offline players for scramble battles and pair play battles. Two local players can play on the same PS3 using 1 PSN ID, and play against other players online.

360 version: It is NOT possible to mix and match online and offline players for scramble battles and pair play battles. So you either have to have all players be offline and local (so 4 players, 1 Xbox) or have all the players be online (4 players, 4 Xboxes)."

The reason for this difference is because of the architecture differences between gamertags and PSN IDs. I’m not sure of the technical details, but basically it amounts to: Sony made it so you can mix and match online and offline, and Microsoft made it so you can’t.

Folks are calling bullshit, but it's hard to tell if only one party is being dishonest here.

Timer is pretty damn fast from what I noticed. Makes it so you need to be all up in your opponents face or risk getting timed out.

Lokus, that'll change quickly once people figure out some decent combos. (U)MvC3 was the same way at first, especially Ultimate due to the meter gain nerfing and some character damage output changes; that's gone out the window now that one-touch death combos were discovered once again.
