Highest damaging combo I did in a match with chun li and cammy was: chunLi: Jumping with 2 HP----> cr. HP ----> cancel into HK spining brid ------> cross change -----> standing HP with cammy -----> Cancel into her super. That shit did 484 dmg. Of course landing that Jumping HP with Chun-Li is pure luck ._.

I tried to play online tonight... and to my surprise it was actually quite a good experience! I did have the sound cutting issues but they didn't bother me, but the important thing is that, there were zero input lag! That is huge.

There were also frame skipping issues that makes the game seem laggy, but the attacks are coming out instantly after presses, that's so unbelievable after the input lagfest that is sf4 and marvel.

Personally I'm satisfied.

why dont more people play as tekken characters? lol

i need to get this game, ugh. it doesnt look nearly as flashy and retarded as i thought it would be

I didn't even realize it til last night, but not only did Capcom not add in non-idiot button setting, but you actually have to set buttons one player at a time now, you can't have both do it at the same time like on SF4. This is something they're going to be pushing as a tournament game, but they somehow managed to find about the only fucking way possible to make button checks even slower . The game itself it's really fun, but it's absolutely crazy how much stuff they've managed to horrifically fuck up in the actual release/implementation of it.

Tekken characters seem to have very strong high low mix ups and their comboes are very juggle friendly, so I expect when people are more familiar with them you'll see more of them played.

Yes, I'm baffled by a lot of their design decisions. Especially if they want Gems being used in tournaments, why would they make this interface so horrible that you're just asking for the gems to get banned?

Tekken characters seem to be really good, but significantly more technical than SF chars which is why I'm sure a lot of people like myself are gravitating towards the SF roster.

they are definitly more technical. Started playing a bit in Training + Trial with asuka. and holy shit at all those moves ¬.¬ cant even keep them all in mind at first. The Tekken roster usually lacks good reversals, at least from my limited and little experience. And fuck Cannon strike, Capcom couldnt shit more on cammy... I would rather take the non instant Cannon Strike from SSFIV AE then this shit.... Startup time: looooooong, recovery time: looooooong. Holy fuck its even a wonder you can combo LPs into EX cannon strike sometimes.

Wut? Lol they're safe, just gotta position them different. Also lk. Spiral is safe from a decent distance, and ex spiral as well.

Okay, I got a taste of the game last night and I admit it is the new hotness. ._.

The LMH combo system is really messing with me though. Any quick tips for someone new? I have a tournament tomorrow.
