You shitting me, I expected an update today, not an update on their update schedule...
Yo Julia is retarded. She's a walking frame trap. We in there.
Just some comparison between Capcom titles:
Overall price/character, all versions:
SFxTK: 50 chars, $80, $1.60/char
MvC3: 48 chars, $100, $2.08/char
SF4: 39 chars, $115, $2.95/char
Price/character, individual versions:
SFxTK: 12 chars, $20, $1.67/char
UMvC3: 12 chars, $40, $3.33/char
SSF4:AE: 4 chars, $15, $3.75/char
SSF4: 10 chars, $40, $4.00/char
...at least they're not getting more expensive?
A couple things that aren't really taken into account there:
- SSF4 and UMvC3 also came with new stages, SFxTK character pack does not
- SSF4, AE, and UMvC3 also came with rebalancing, SFxTK character pack does not
- SSF4 and UMvC3 price had to account for the costs involved with printing and shipping physical discs, while DLC vendor contracts are expensive I'm sure, I refuse to believe it's not significantly less than the cost of physical media, especially when physical copies go unsold
- AE characters, as far as I know, were not already hanging out on the Super disc so that they could wait 5+ months to allow people to unlock them
