TTT2 is that bad, eh? I was thinking of giving Tekken a serious shot when Tag2 dropped. Is Tekken 6 still played more than Kof13 and SF4? What about sfxt?

T6 has been out for too long. It's a really solid game, but it's 99% footsies and 1% auto-pilot juggling. People just got tired of it. More people play T6 than SF4 though. No matter which arcade I go to, the order of popularity for games these days goes KoF13 -> TTT1 -> KoF98 -> T6 -> SF4 -> TTT2. No arcade cabs means no real SFxT scene. Players that plan on traveling this year are practicing, but no one except Poongko is really going in on it from what I've been hearing.
EDIT: People are hoping TTT2U turns out to be a good game, though. Whether or not it will pull back players that have already hopped off the Tekken bandwagon, we'll just have to wait and see.
Every time I play I just feel like I suck ass![]()
Wanna play against me?![]()
so i played with chun li the last 2 days and got quiet a hang on her footsies.
Now I am getting kicked after the 1. fight because I can keep out all the tekken farts off bay and can zone them good enough so they cant come in ¬.¬ and I deal with her and cammy decent dmg. Well its not my fault that Chun-Li is all about counterpoking, footsies and zoneing -_-
Can we get a resident Damane translator?
Got good at chun footsies and zoning, so now he keeps getting kicked from lobbies after the first fight.
Shouldn't really be easy to zone the tekken cast since they almost all have easy ways to get around fireballs.
chunli doesnt rely on fireballs to zone
After playing w/ you guys, i enjoyed cammy again... Then i hopped on rank and wanted to strangle myself. I'm sticking to offline and playing w/ bg now.
Dilemma: i have a lagless monitor which i use to play with but the wireless connection in my house is ass and i have been getting dc'ed a lot online and its fucking with my BP. I could move my system (ps3 btw) to the living room (too far for a wired connection from living room to my room) for a wired connection but then i'd be playing on a laggy tv. Do i say fuck it and just spend time in training mode with the better monitor (especially with NCR coming up which i plan to attend as my first major) or move downstairs for the better connection for online matches?
If the connection to the router is too far for you to wire, look into either powerline (kinda meh imo) or MoCA adapters.
I use MoCA and it's great. It basically uses the frequencies of your cable TV wiring to act as network connections.
If neither is an option, I'd rather play with laggy TV than deal with wireless with the random lag spikes.
Is there a way to change your character order before the round starts like in marvel?
no
For Welt/Kazuya players.
