Err not really lol, it'd just give another mix-up to those who already have good walk > jab pressure.

I would:

1) Fix the hit boxes for the standing jab. That doesn't even look like it should hit. This should only work on big characters like Hugo.

2) Fix the frames. There's no reason why the jabs should have such good frame advantage both on block and on hit.

this didnt happen in sf4 because standing jabs whiffed a lot on crouching. don't ask me why they changed it. it's like they added all the gay shit from SF4's system(like damage scaling) and took out all the stuff that made sense.

History repeats itself. Last year at around the time of EVO Capcom announced AE2012 patch fixing the entire balance.
Capcom probly waits till EVO to see all the bugs in action then just goes to work tweaking numbers, releases a new complete disc, profits.

edit: I know they keep saying they won't release a new disc ala "Arcade Edition" but theres always "GOTY Edition", "Kollection", "Complete Edition" etc. they'll name it some bullshit, please believe.

not many chars can do walk jab pressure. jab pressure is actually essential to some chars like cammy. throw range alone wont fix it, you would need to bring throws down to 3 Frames or so.

Jab pressure is the most commonly-used tactic in this game, at least by intermediates and online. I don't see enough of the tourney scene to know what they're using outside of probably abusing Cammy and Ryu.

huh since when, out of my head I can only think of 5 chars with excellent walk jab pressure, but then again I didnt even touch all chars.

They will stand by their words and not release another disc. However, they are DEFINTELY waiting for EVO to tweak the system and characters. Since 2010, EVO has pretty much been a huge benchmark test ground for their DLC updateable games.

That's normal, XBL store has always updated at a different time than PSN's. idk why people act like 360 players are getting jobbed because PSN released it a few hours earlier, lol, it was slated for 4/10 the entire time.

EDIT: so the patch is here and they "Fixed" the sound issue... instead of hearing now NO sound, you hear a echo and the game is more laggy then before (literally)
Why couldnt they use GGPO? No they had to make something halfass themself...
