Okay. I'm trying the Ken trials right now and I have no idea how this guy is doing the EX Hado into SA cancel for trial 5. It looks like he's doing one QCF before PP for the EX and one more QCF+K to make the SA come out. I can't get it to work for the life of me.

Yeah, you can do that with any of the QCFx2 supers if there's a QCF move that is super cancelable. You will really want to get that down, I can't really give any special tips because it is quite literally as simple as what you've said, there's no real trick to it.

Ah okay.

Probably going to have to dismantle my stick and take a look at the joystick. Something is up with my it whenever I try and do QCFs in the 1p position. Let my friend use the stick not too long ago and I swear he was trying to break the joystick off with the way he was slamming it around. >_<

It doesn't even really have to be all that fast either honestly, mashing it out is probably just gonna fuck it up. From when you hit the PP to start the EX fireball you have until a few frames after Ken's hands are fully extended to get the Super out.

The hardest part about that trial is just figuring out the positioning on it, since getting that last hit off his first Super can be a huge pain in the ass since it's very spacing specific.

Any tips with Urien's c.FP, MK tackle, MK tackle, LP headbutt combo? I'm charge buffering the MK tackles, but 99% of the time when I go for the second tackle I either get MK or a tackle that whiffs. I'm thinking I'm doing the first MK tackle too slowly after the c.FP, but I can't tell for certain.

Instead of doing b,f+MK, do b,f,b+MK. This lets you maximize your charge time by letting you charge for the second tackle the moment the first tackle comes out. Every little frame counts.

Wow, now I know what you guys meant when you said that the buffering was ridiculous in SF4. Timing and execution are a lot tighter in this game by far which can be really frustrating at times. Sticking with it though because it really is a good game.

I'm not done with the whole cast yet but right now I seem to be gravitating towards Yang as a main although I said I wouldn't use Chun, Ken, Herp, or Derp. >_<

Probably looking at Ryu as a secondary when I eventually get there.

I am new to SF III and started with makoto. I barely play, but gees I have a hard time against chun. I used chun once in a Fight, and it was a piece of cake. The pokes of her have some tremendous hitbox. not to mention the godlike cr. mk into Super ¬.¬

Noticing a lot of similarities between Urien and Seth in that video. Overall look and Seth's FA is that same shoulder tackle Urien was using. Not saying their connected in any way though. Just an observation.
