Reducing Chun and Ken's cr.mk range would of been pretty sweet. Shit pisses me off in GGPO.

It's not that good, but yeah... it can be rough to deal with.
Bump because what. the. fuck. is. happening.

How does Q escape getting thrown there? I looked it up on a few .jp wikis but all I get is 'Kushin cancel' without a lot of real world demonstrations on what is going on. All I get is this (EUC-JP encoded) page that kind of explains what's going on http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-...rrookies9.html
Am I reading it right? 632147+K makes you throw invincible for a frame? Is this like Kara throws where it's character specific and takes godlike reflexes to accomplish reliably? Seems TM does it without blinking.

It appears they are high jump canceling into normals which is pretty crazy to me, I'd have to say that takes some really good reflexes. If you continue reading they even go on to explain that yes while it's not necessarily 'character specific' it has limited uses for certain characters similar to how certain characters get a negligible range increase from a kara throw which makes this (extremely difficult to perform) maneuver not worth it to attempt there's a pretty specific example of that citing this technique isn't worth trying to perform as Chun-Li. Looks like this comment on the youtube video had it almost on the mark.
"@jszy I've seen something like this before. I think Q takes an abnormally long time to super jump, and you become throw invincible when you super jump, and you can cancel it before you leave the ground into a special move. But that was a really long time between the whiffed throw and the slaps so now i'm not sure myself @@"
Except it seems that via this method you can HJ cancel into normals, apparently. This isn't something I'm really knowledgeable about so I'm gonna have to play around with this one.

Street Fighter III hits PSN, XBLA on August 23
Capcom has announced that the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network version of Street Fighter III: Third Strike will hit on August 23.
Arguably one of the best fighters ever, Street Fighter III: Third Strike looks like it'll be making a seamless transition to current-gen consoles. Capcom's adding a ton of extras, as well as online play (hence why it's being referred to as the Online Edition). If you call yourself a fighting game fan, you're going to buy this day one, no questions.
When it drops it'll cost you 1200 MS Points or $14.99, so start digging around your couch for change now.
3rd strike online streaming atm

Okay SOMEONE please tell me you know where I can find this full match.
Correction thought it did.
I meant that nothing in the rest of match is going to live up to stuffing Genei Jin lol
Watching that video, I hope Capcom improves the audio quality of 3S. Everything always sounded like it was recorded through a microphone with a sock over it.

Evo2k11: Street Fighter III Online Edition DLC detailed
If you didn't already know Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition is going to support DLC to help offset the fact that it's Capcom USA's highest-budgeted downloadable game to date. At their Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition panel during Evo2k11 producer Derek Neal unveiled some of the first DLC that's in store following the game's upcoming August release.
Titled "Fight for the Future" -- I see what they did there -- this unique DLC is not playable, but rather the results from an invitation only tournament Capcom held at their offices earlier this year. For this super-secret showdown Capcom flew in 16 of the worlds greatest Street Fighter players from around the world -- including the likes of EG Justin Wong, Amir and Tokido.
Details for how this DLC will work were vague, but I can only imagine that it will incorporate the games downloadable replay system. As for the winner... well Capcom told the fans on-hand that they will just have to wait till August to see who came out on top.
Unfortunately no firm date and price for the "Fight for the Future" tournament were mentioned during the panel. With a "wide variety" of DLC planned for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition hopefully Capcom keeps things on the relatively inexpensive side.
3rd Strike has the best sound/soundtrack of any fighting game, ever.
I like Weltall's version better.
Although... I guess both statements end up meaning the same thing in the end anyway.
