Don't be hating on my ninja skill to mpk with a mole dive, thats pure skill right there, especially with a 2 second window that it can only be done in![]()
For the R50 archers out there...
I'm curious about the DoT effect on Bloodletter and the move in general. How reliable is it to land the DoT effect, how potent is it, how long does it usually last? Finally, how do you think it would fair using the move on another class (I'm interested in using it subbed for additional damage. since DoTs were so strong for mages, I figured there was a good chance this would be good as well).
The "DoT" effect on Bloodletter is more of a time bomb. It has a fairly high land rate on ARC main, probably around 75% or so. I believe it takes about 15 seconds before it fires, but I haven't timed it. When it fires, it seems to always deal 500 damage, ignoring defense and level correction.
When I use it on various other classes with Bowmanship equipped, it seems to have a lower land rate and the effect fires for 367 damage (which is hilarious on low-level grind targets, like antlings).
Hm anything that ignores defense and level correction is going to be a huge plus. I think the effect firing for 367 instead of 500 is similar to the reduction of the punishing barbs cap for THM vs. sub. If the land rate is even reasonable (50% would be great) on sub I think I may pursue this. Nice to hear it works differently than something like skullsunder which is a straight DoT aftereffect
That 500 blood letter works on NM's.. and can be used by other classes as well, pulls ton of threat
Kinda why lvling archer atm O_o
Answer is probably no, but if you had 2-3 ppl spamming bloodletter, could you have multiple effects go off at once? Or is it only 1 at a time like DoT?
What kind of gear should I have on my Archer for "end game" (quotes cuz end game is lols). I'm still using my Bowman Tunic but not sure if I should be wearing something else at 50.

Body: Buccaneer's Shirt (HP/STR) or Bowman's Tunic (STR/DEX) or Cavalry Haubergeon (STR/DEX) or Harrier's Jacket (DEX)
Head: Silver Tricorne (STR/DEX) or Buccaneer's Tricorne (HP/STR) or Bowman's Hat (DEX)
Legs: Tarred Leather Trousers (STR/VIT)
Hands: Spiked Leather Armguards (HP)
Feet: Buccaneer's Boots (DEX) or Cavalry Sollerets (STR) or Toadskin Leggings (HP)
Waist: Tarred Voyager's Belt (HP)
How much of a penalty do you get hit for wearing Cavalry items on Archer since, IIRC, Archer isn't one of the optimal classes on it?
So I think I've figured out the way Foeseeker works.
I executed the following sequence:
- Raging Strike+Ferocity+Hawk's Eye
- Trifurcate
- Foeseeker (succesfully lands for xxx damage)
- Feint (succesfully lands for xxx damage)
Now, given that I did a bunch of actions prior to Feint, there's no way I piggybacked off of a previous miss. Therefore, somehow a landed Foeseeker met the requirement to use Feint (a missed attack).
I'm guessing that Foeseeker does an accuracy check for each arrow nocked; in other words, with 3 arrows nocked, you have three attempts to land Foeseeker, and if you fail the first check, Feint is enabled. It's kind of weird, though, because I'm pretty sure you don't lose arrows on Foeseeker misses (otherwise, it should have been extremely apparent that every missed FS wipes out your Multishot status).
What's wrong with accuracy ?
I miss to often on a mob that is more than blue or blue itself on mandat 2+ stars of my level.
Friends of my ls decide to try out Uraeus, i joined them for fun and see the fight while landing some arrow, got over 1% miss rate (with no skill used to enhance accuracy), and a lot of critical, i'm rang 30 (and lvl 34). My damage wasn't high tho, 7 dmg on crit.
The only real difference is the distance, on mandat i'm the one who tank so i'm closed to the mob, on Uraeus i was far away (stand at the same distance of healer).
Can we get nearly 100% accuracy from distance ?
Can someone translate the previous post?
This not a slam on the previous poster; I'm sure your English is better than my [whatever your native language is]. (Unless English is your native language, in which case it most definitely is a slam.) I just can't understand what you are trying to say. I guess maybe that you have high accuracy from far away?
I'm french,
what i was saying is, why i dont miss on a rang 50+ NM when i get a lot of miss from a mob rang 30 (i'm rang 30 myself).
My conclusion was : the distance. but i'm not sure. does the distance give a better accuracy ?
(I hope you understand, sorry if my english is bad).
Pretty sure distance makes a big difference in accuracy. My ls's archers say they pretty much don't miss (normal shots) anymore on our NM runs.
Do acc rings help with archer's accuracy as well?
Feint timeframe is barely long enough to use Raging Strike (followed immediately by Feint) after a miss. It's not even close to long enough to miss, use Raging Strike, Ferocity, Hawk's Eye, Trifurcate, and a (landed) WS, then Feint.
I was gonna say from my experience you have to use it right after you miss or you lose it.
