You do realize it pains me to praise someone from ATL. I wouldn't quite jump up there and put him ahead of CJ though. That's some homer for sure, lol.

I feel the same way about Smitty this year too though. He started busting out great numbers again once Moore was at the helm. If LaFell and Edwards turn out to be legit, I think he'll have another pro-bowl season.

I went to bed, but yeah.. I'd be in for the $20 buy-in I think. I mean.. it's just twenty bucks. Thanks for leaving me a spot in it, Tyche.

And Volc.. I don't think I ever said you just 'mashed buttons to get a scoring system' did I? o.O I thought I told Tyche that it seemed pretty cool, but scary as fuck, Haha.

Yeah I would end up taking CJ if given the choice, but I would definitely take the Burner before fumblitis. Fuck... I'd actually probably take Ray Rice before Turner but MJD I'm not sure.

If there was a fair way to factor completion percentage, I'd be all for it. I've tried it in a few leagues and it just doesn't work.

The bottom line is it is a fantasy game and therefore impossible to make everything perfectly fair. Making the right play in a real game will not always translate to fantasy. I have been playing very seriously for 7 years now(I'm sure others have played longer so inb4 "OH YEAH WELL IVE PLAYED 20 YEARS!"), and tinkered with different scoring systems every year. There is always something that ends up unbalanced and unfair, and it is a shame to ruin a league with a bad scoring system. If all of the BG folk like that system and want to pay $20 to play with it, good for them. I'm just trying to explain why standard makes the most sense and has been by far the best way to play in my experience.
All I would have to do is change the mean numbers for scoring and then QBs wouldn't score negative points anymore. That's not the point. What's funny is how Tyche forgets that Brady scored 50+ points for him only a few weeks later in the scoring system. It's a very high-scoring league (most teams average between 90-110 points per week) so when you put it in that perspective -6 points isn't a major deal at all for a very subpar performance. He just continues to tell the story without setting up the framework to make things seem worse than they actually are.

I think he could. He breaks off the huge runs like no other and catches a good amount of passes. Then again AD has a strong handshake so there's always that.

The fact that he tore off a lot of huge runs doesn't help his case. That's very hard to repeat. And AD is no slouch at catching balls. I think he caught 45 last year. I know CJ catches a lot, but I'm betting it wasn't much more than AD. And that was with Taylor taking away some catches. Now he not only has a rookie backing him up, it's a white rookie. This goes without saying that only 1 RB has been in the top 3 for the past 3 seasons. I'll take consistency at the number 1 spot over someone with one breakout season. Give me AD at number one All Day.

I don't like AD at all. I like his skill as a runner, but the guy needs to work on his holding on to the football. Didn't he also have a span where he hardly broke 100 yards and had quite a few zero yard or negative yard plays? Not to say he won't get better.. he needs to work with Tiki and figure out how to hold the ball. Also, don't overlook the loss of Chester for that team.

as a man that plays benchmark scoring i can tell you that no RB missed the 100 yard mark by mere inches more than faggot ass ryan grant. anyway AD had a bunch of TDs last year didnt he? i want to see he lead all RBs. i think he comes back this year and beasts again

He can fumble twice a game and still be a top 3 back.

Isn't there a reason they always brought Chester Taylor in on 3rd downs? Especially in game deciding situations?

yea, so a pass could go off his hands and they could lose to the steelers.

Yeah, but that should also say they didn't really trust him much. I dunno, I guess I'm not as high on AD as everyone still is. Honestly.. there's no #1 RB that I particularly love. :/ CJ's gonna be good, but 2000 yards again? I doubt it. MJD was nice his first season as the solid #1 without Fred Taylor stealing his shit. Ray Rice broke out like a motherfucker. AD had a really good year.. it's just tough judging RBs now.

Yes, because he was the 3rd down running back and one of the best pass blocking running backs in the league? Taylor isn't a slouch, he will be missed for sure. Gerhart not being in camp right now is killing us because even though he was a decent pass blocker and receiver in college, he needs to prove he can do it at the next level. The longer he holds out the higher AP's stock will rise imo
