Surely, even merely with US time differences, a weekday plays against us what with day jobs and the time it takes to run a draft. Weekend drafts allow people to schedule the time out of their activities, rather than trying to work around employment hours etc.

I make it happen in my league =) but I'm going to have to agree weekends are much better for attendance and I've learned first-hand any time at or even remotely close to labor day weekend is a big no-no

Sundays are usually the best common ground since a lot of people don't have work and they're typically pretty relaxed.

My Sundays consist of smoking mass amounts of ganja, an early dinner, and generally being as lazy as possible. So any time on a Sunday works for me.
