Friday *should* be okay though that's always liable to change, given that it's Friday. Week from tomorrow would be perfect, though.

Anyone heard from Tyr on potential draft times for BG East and BG Premiere? He's currently got both drafts scheduled for basically the exact time I'll be in Cowboys Stadium watching a game, so I'm hoping to reschedule.

my roommate runs a $20 dollar survivor league if anyone would like in. we have about 80 people invited, we expect at least 40 of that 80 to join so thats still an 800 dollar pot at worst just to pick a winner once a week. its exactly the same as the one byrd runs through espn except we do ours through CBS. if anyone would like in shoot me a PM so i can give you the league site and password, you can paypal the cheese to my roomie.

Well, does anyone have any issues with next Tuesday then? I had to set it for 15 minutes later cuz the same time wasn't open, but I could always just leave it there if that works.

Kinda didn't think Friday would work out anyway, that's why I left some leeway.

I'm fine with Tuesday. The only thing that could happen is me having to have hernia surgery and it gets scheduled that day.

If that happens, well, oh well. lol

Next Tuesday is fine with me. Any Thursday/Friday night would be a no-go for sure.

Haven't heard from Tyr since he set the league up. He definitely needs to move the draft from Labor Day weekend, I'll be in ATL watching UNC beat up on LSU.

He also needs to add 6 more members.

Ok, scrolling back it doesn't seem like this is an 'advice' thread, but I figure its the most active fantasty thread so ima give it a shot.....

I have a draft tonight with a group of guys I work with. Like an idiot I waited until today to check the scoring system. Here it is:

1 point for 25 passing yards
1 point for 10 receiving yards
1 point for 10 rushing yards
4 points for 1 passing TD
6 points for 1 receiving TD
6 points for 1 rushing TD
Standard points for defense, kickers, etc

Pretty standard until I saw this:

1 point for every 10 return yards
6 points for every return TD

Now it doesn't matter that including return yards and making them equal to receiving yards is the most retarded thing ever. The bottom line is that the obvious strat is to go after a QB and RBs early and fill in my receiving core with #3 WRs who return kicks and punts. In this same format last year look at what some of the bottom tier WRs/RBs would have done:

    Danny Amendola: 2400 yards 1TD
Darren Sproles: 2300 yards 8 TD
Ted Ginn Jr: 1850 yards 3 TD

So yeah, in this league last year these guys would have been Andre Johnson.

So my question is this because I have no idea where to start: Who are slated to have the most return yards this year? This includes punt and kickoff so kick returners on suck defenses are probably best? Or players who return both punts and kicks? Draft is in 5 hours. Someone help a brother out.

Return yards/TDs are completely unpredictable. Don't even attempt to strategize.

is jamaal charles still returning kicks this year? Great pick if he is, not that he already wasn't. Devin hester might deserve a look at as a flex starter too (I refuse to draft that garbage). Julian Edelman is pretty constant with his "this has a change to be a TD" returns as well, and he will likely see more time this year at receiving.

Guys that do both are definitely a priority.

Some guys you might be able to grab really late that have some crazy potential in that league include Yamon Figurs, Clifton Smith, and Joshua Cribbs, although if people are attentive Smith and Cribbs will be gone in the first few rounds.

So is BG Premiere just going to die? We have to have the draft before next Friday, so that means rescheduling the draft and adding an additional 6 members before then...

Who were the top 3 finishers in BGW and BGE not already in BGP?
