It's only insulting based on their week 1 performances. Not sure why anyone would want to trade for Stewart right now unless they are really buying low. Cutler hit his ceiling week one so I don't think his value will get any higher.

The only reason I even want to trade is because I HAVE to. I'd have been perfectly content with Kevin Kolb again. However, he's likely out in week 2, so I have to pick someone up. I'll take David Garrard off waivers before I'll let someone rip me off.

Someone also offered me Boldin and P. Thomas (2 of my top 5 picks) for their 8th and 10th rounders.

I was just explaining how a shortsighted owner would view the trade. The problem is you are trying to trade someone at the pit of their value for someone on the opposite end. I wouldn't expect most people to go for that.

You would seriously be trading Cutler for Jstew if you had someone like Garrard as your other QB, Akiyama?

Did you see the bit where he said Cutler wasn't even his starter? He's basically the 'bye week/match-up' type QB, so yes, I'd offload that in a hot second.
