Trust me, the receivers were not the problem.

I don't really trust Vick to duplicate last week's stats, but hopefully he still has some magic in those legs.

No waiver claim in fleaflicker for Brandon Jackson, my RBs are Turner, Mathews, and Arian Foster. So if anyone needs a stud...

Tyche, how do you feel about the Dolphins D at the Vikings this week?

You are Babineaux? I feel like we could actually work out a trade, my WR depth is kind of ridiculous. Yours is terrible, Dwayne Bowe starting? Really? lol

I would be interested in Rivers or one of your 3 RBs. I imagine you don't want to give up Turner for sentimental reasons, although I'm a little weary of the other two.

I'm most likely not going to give up Austin, but any of my other WRs I would definitely be willing to work with. Calvin Johnson, Mike Wallace, Donald Driver, and Mike Williams (TB). I would work in Jerome Harrison, Addai, or Jackson if you wanted a solid backup too. If I come up with a trade scenario I'll offer it, you can do the same.

Put in a claim on Panthers D, but they are only 3rd on my waiver priority after Brandon Jackson(who I won't get since I'm in 3rd place out of 14) and Mike Vick(best FA QB available, I had Stafford and Roethlisberger XD). A lot of those defenses look playable, I might just wait and see who is left over after claims go through. Just curious if Tyche or anyone had any insight from actually watching the Dolphins play before I drop them.

    @Zoolander

Rivers is my only QB so not trading him.

Chiefs offense looked pathetic Monday night but I still have faith in Bowe and like him more than all of those WRs save Austin and maybe Stafford-less Calvin Johnson. But yeah I'm still open to trade offers, going to be a pain watching one of those RBs put up points on my bench.

In the longterm, I'd personally take Wash defense. They have a solid defense, though going up against Houston this week probably wouldn't be the greatest. But what do I know, I'm just a know-nothing homer

The run defense will be good. It's always good. Odrick being out would worry me a bit, but it shouldn't be too much of a dealbreaker. With that said, you'd be stupid not to start AD in any league. However, last year the Fins held CJ to his lowest YPC of the season, 0TDs and a fumble. You can see what they did to CJ Spiller last week.

Ar far as the pass defense, Nolan has been fucking vanilla all offseason and was even vanilla against the Bills. There was 40 pass snaps in that game and the dolphins only averaged 3.8 players rushing the passer. They averaged 4.39 last year under Pasqualoni. 66 times a non-defensive lineman rushed the passer and they came away with 3 sacks, 6 hits, and 10 pressures. Those are absurd numbers for when they did decide to bring guys.

The worries come in the secondary. It's a crapshoot. Vontae Davis will boss whoever he's covering, but Bennie Sapp and Will Allen could be problematic. Sapp had a coverage breakdown that allowed a 30-something yard TD against Buffalo.

So, in conclusion...our secondary is unknown and favre and the Vike's receivers are largely an unknown, so....I don't know.

Master of selective stats, making 29 carries/104 yards and 2 catches/55 yards sound like a dominant defensive performance lol.

Master of dumb fucking posts...I was at that game with Serif and Weltall. He didn't have a great game.

Here's a bizarre selective stat I found interesting... Felix jones averaged 47.1 yd/TD, with 8 Career TDs and I know one was only for 11 yards (his first career TD)... low sample size but still large enough to wow me.

It was the second most carries he had gotten all season (only second to his 36 in the last game in which they ran his ass til he crossed the 2,000 yard mark), and he barely managed 100 yards. SO yes, in comparison to what he had done all season, he was pretty much a non-factor. VY had a career day against the fins.

I agree with you, they are probably the most "solid" defense there, they just aren't usually a good fantasy defense. Decisions, decisions.

    Play three of four:

    Greg Jennings vs. BUF
    DeSean Jackson @ DET
    Brandon Marshall @ MIN
    Chad Ochocinco vs. BAL

Leaning towards benching Ochocinco but it cost me last week.

Yeah but keep in mind all those points were in garbage time against the Pats. It isn't like Ocho had a great game when it mattered so it's best not to let that scare you into playing him next week against a much better defense than before.

Keep in mind, Baltimore doesn't have a secondary.

^Bench Brandon Marshall. Henne won't do shit against the vikes if brees gets only 14 points. Not to mention they play the vikes in min... have fun with that, while the bengals play at home.

You honestly think Miami doesn't put up 14 points? Miami +6 may be the best bet of the year.

If they put up more than 14 points, I don't expect Henne to have a large part in it at all. They put up 15 on buffalo, I don't see how you are going to persuade me otherwise.

Buffalos secondary is better than minnesotas. A lot better. Even if I wasn't a complete homer, I'd fucking love Miami. Vikings had the Thursday opener pegged for revenge and spent the entire offseason preparing for retribution and came short. I see a huge letdown for minneosta this week.
