Turner yes, Mathews no.
Turner yes, Mathews no.
Matthews is not expected to start.
Ehhhhhh... Turner or Sproles... both have gotten equal amount of points the past couple weeks, but Turner's been the feature back and Sproles has been the back up... Idk. Is turner gonna be limited at all do you think moss?
From what I hear, Turner's set to go at full, especially with a big game against NO. The reason he never saw the field again last week was due to it being a blowout.
As far as Sproles.. I'd watch out for Tolbert too. Fool be stealin' those goal line carries.
Tolbert's starting. Probably will split carries with Sproles, though.
I have lesean McCoy and after that it's either Bush Turner or Sproles... D:
uh... Turner as in Michael? lol, him obviously. Look at what Gore did to the Saints.
True... I was just split because of Turner's no show the past couple weeks D:
He had 9 carries for 75 yards against the Cardinals before he pulled the groin and ended up sitting out. If it were a playoff game, he probably would have come back, but they just erred on the side of caution since it was a blowout.
I realize you are new to fantasy, but Turner or Sproles is not even a question. Sproles has 10 carries all season, he managed 9 points last week thanks to 60 receiving yards. Turner was shut down by one of the best defenses in football week 1(still had 19 carries that week), and was ripping the Cards a new asshole until he tweaked his groin. He was ok to return but it was no contest so it became the Snelling show. Start him with full confidence!
edit: Aki covered it all.
I realize that turner and sproles should be no question... but sproles is still a good back that would get plenty of receiving yards if he were the starter, I had forgotten about Tolbert, and I was mainly worried about him coming off an injury, even if he could have gone back in that same game there's some worry in my mind. That was my thought process.
My squad:
QB- Eli, Matt Ryan, Big Ben
WR- Randy Moss, Marshall, Jennings, Steve Smith (NYG)
RB- DeAngelo Williams, Bradshaw, Spiller, Snelling
TE- Gates
My team has a huge hole at RB (and yes, I know I have 3 QBs). 6pt pass td, otherwise everything else PPR standard for the most part. I've been offered Snelling+Eli for Knowshon Moreno. Should I take that..? I'm trying to do Matt Ryan+Snelling for Knowshon -- the other owner is weak @ QB
Tony G vs. NO or A.Hernandez vs BUF?
Hernandez has looked great so far, but I'm worried about the Pats keeping the ball on the ground after they get up on BUF. He's also still kind of a wild card being a rookie.
Tony G has been a disappointment so far, but the NO game has potential to become a shoot out. Also, he had 89yrds against them last year when ATL went to the dome.
I have Best, Brandon Jackson, and Tolbert...I'm under the mindset that I should always start Best at this point (started him the past two weeks with good results obviously), but not sure about who my RB2 should be.
I'd say Tolbert vs SEA > Jackson vs CHI.
RB2 is a sore spot for me in a league as well. My RB1 is Foster, so I'm starting him, but my RB2 was Moreno and he's out this week. I have Buckhalter, Snelling, Slaton (Foster's back-up lol), and Forsett, so I've got Forsett starting since I see the Colts blowing the Broncos out. Thoughts?
Rest of team = Rodgers, Randy Moss, Colston, Santana Moss, (WR1/2/3 respectively), Cooley at TE, Prater @K, and Baltimore D.
I wouldn't, I think better of DWill and Bradshaw than a now injured Moreno.
Tony G., MUCH more reliable than a rookie with many other offensive options to contend with.Tony G vs. NO or A.Hernandez vs BUF?
Yeesh, not any good options there. This is not a homer pick, I think Snelling has a better chance than Forsett for some production. The Falcons will spell Turner, and with Norwood out that will be Snelling every time. Too many other guys in the Seattle backfield, and Buckhalter is still behind Maroney on the depth chart.RB2 is a sore spot for me in a league as well. My RB1 is Foster, so I'm starting him, but my RB2 was Moreno and he's out this week. Was thinking that myself, but it really depends on if Atlanta plays from behind all game or if it's relatively close. I think it'll be close as I have the ATL winning, but still a tough choice to go with a #2 over a defined #1 in Forsett. He had 8 carries for like.. 45 yards last weekend, so he's getting chunks, but god damn do they not like to run.
Demaryius Thomas, Donald Driver or Mike Williams (TB)? Pretty much already taken Mike Williams off the table since they are going up against Pitt, although maybe TB can actually throw against them since they surely wont run successfully lol. Really like what I see from Thomas (does it weird anyone else out he even LOOKS almost exactly like Marshall, go look at his nfl.com pic) but obviously hes still somewhat an unknown commodity.
