Tyr's system is basically the best. I've played in a lot of leagues and my favorites have always been ones with point values similar to that.

Child, please tell me why bonus points make ANY sense at all. Is that 300th yard passing *that* much harder than the first 299? Again, I'm not going to debate PPR, to each his own in that regard(but really, you don't deserve shit for a 0 yard catch, or a 0 yard completion, etc.).

Still though.. I'll rip Standard. 4 points for a passing TD makes no sense at all. Sure passing TDs are more frequent, but how often are we going to see QBs throw for 50 TDs? That Tom Brady season was just beyond crazy. Still, I like the idea of a passing TD scoring the same as an actual TD. If anything, I think kickers should be nullified. There's been games I've won and lost where it was due to a kicker getting like.. 24 points or something insane. Remember that year Bironas was like 8/8 or someshit?

And wat. When a QB passes for 300 yards, it's usually a pretty big thing. If you're going to argue that 'well the other 299 were tough to get to..' well shit, just give points for one TD. I mean.. it's not like the other TDs obtained weren't hard to get.

300 yards in a benchmark. They track it in the NFL. You hear stats all the time "This QB has had 4 strait 300+ yard games". 100 yards in a benchmark for RBs. I don't know if you watch real football to realize that or not...

What is the point of the bonuses? Does reaching an arbitrary number really deserve an extra pat on the back? If a guy is hitting that magic number of 100 yards rushing or 300 yards passing, he is already raking in the points.

Passing TDs being worth the same as Rushing/Receiving makes no sense, points for a rushing attempt is also lulz.

Yes yes I know it's a fucking benchmark, just like 100 yard games for RBs and WRs. And in the context of the game on the field and not some ESPN storyline bullshit, 299 yards passing is the same fucking thing as 300.

Not everyone is sucking Tyr's cock. It's just that he's organized a ton of shit with a few different sort of leagues for everyone to get involved with. Is it his fault if people don't show? No, not really. We usually try to find folks to fill in for those other teams. That's the problem with online fantasy leagues. It's a lot harder to keep it all organized. No need to be a shit.

points per rushing attempt make more sense now than they did 5 years ago. I've said my beef on passing TDs. Yeah, RBs don't score as many TDs as QBs, but you start 1 QB in fantasy and 2 (and sometimes 3) RBs in fantasy. In a 2QB league, 4TDs may be more applicable.

Come on man! Like I said earlier, 16 TDs for a starting QB is shit, 16 TDs for a RB or WR is a career year. QBs still tend to score more points than RBs or WRs with 4pts/TD, as they should since there is only one slot for them. If you make it 6 shit gets all unbalanced like.

Tyche made a good point. In some leagues.. Standard for instance where you have RB RB RB/WR (or whatever the case may be), you have multiples at that position that can rack up the TDs while you only use one QB.

It is... they are more consistent than guys who depend on catching a bomb. The main problem is RBs that catch passes become unbalanced because they catch all of these dinks and dunks. Shit's unbalanced, yardage is what matters and therefore is king.
