So happy then renewed it for another season, my girlfriend and I love this show. I absolutely die whenever they have Firefly references.

how many firefly references have they had, I can only remember 1-2 of them

off the top of my head I can think of three, the obvious one was wearing the costume, another one was learning chinese from some tv show, and there was a subtle nod to one of river's lines "two by two, hands of blue" in one scene where he's wearing blue gloves and deliberately (according to his twitter or an interview) held up two fingers on each hand

When I watched Firefly I never understood the chinese thing until I watched the behind the scenes interviews. I also thought the chinese was a made up language for the first few episodes.

There was also a scene where Castle shoots a gun out of someone's hand..

I really liked all the screen time Ryan and Esposito got this episode. They're very underused in a lot of eps.

I liked that as well, but not as much as I like "serious Castle", i.e when he's got that moody Malcom Reynolds look goin on.

Yea, they've been pretty lame as of late.

Loved this episode. Glad it got renewed, because I'm emotionally invested in how this case comes out! Hope they don't cancel it before the story is cleared.

Tonight's the first part of the two-parter with Adrian Pasdar(Nathan Petrelli, "Heroes"). Looks like it might even be better than last season's two-part story.

I'm normally a big fan of the little easter eggs here and there, but this one just felt kind of forced.

Other than that, top-notch episode.

I'm a pretty jaded viewer. I am consistantly amazed that Castle seems to be the one show since Firefly that can actually manage to get me emotionally involved. The scene tonight at the end with the bomb = wow Even though my MIND new nothing was gonna happen, edge of the seat heart pounding awesome shit :D

I kept expecting it to cut back to back in the fridge scene. I thought everything from once he closed his eyes and the silent commercial break to be a "fake ending of castles" since that was what Beckett was saying she wish hoped would happen.

Anytime Castle gets serious, it's like Malcolm's come back. He's only looked ANGRY once though that I can remember, recently too, the one with the shit about Beckett's mom in the past, and the asshole guy they arrested, looked exactly like a dead serious i'm gonna kick your ass Mal.
