So when are you receiving marks, where are they in your inventory, etc.?

I dunno, I didn't say I got them. Just talked to mark npcs and their stuff shows up screwed. There's 500 next to each other so that must be the cost. As for marks, the update said they will show up in currency in inventory.

As for arrows, they are 2gil in camp, but you can get them for 1 gil at Thundersticks. Buying is quite faster now, even though menus open close slow in general.

My feedback after a few minutes...

Holy shit, without the FPS cap this game is about 4 times as enjoyable, the UI has a cool clean(ed) feeling, and the mouse works somewhat decently.

Not sure if I am a fan of the battle system but it looks decent. Really need to sleep or I'd check more.

Ok, some mark npc stuff works in armorer guild. It seems you can buy shards for marks and also stuff like Painting training, Hatting training and other stuffs - so, recipes? Shards cost 8 marks for 1, the training stuff is 500 marks each.

Talk to Baderon and you'll get your second started ability. Ie: I learned Heavy Thrust by talking to him.

Christ on a bike... I set my buffer size to Quarter, and my fps was a nice 50-60... but the quality was so bad, i couldn't even read my name... ff11 on the ps2 was beautiful compared to this... now to find a happy medium.

Edit: Changed buffer size to three quarters... noticeably uglier, but the fps has vastly improved. My PC is old, guess I can't complain.

I've been running half for a compromise between speed and graphics.

Make sure you set multisampling and other effects down.

Surplus is back at lvl 14 MAR --;;;; I think it's linked to weapon now. I never received till 19+ last time... Which is when I had a lvl 16 weapon. Also my Skill just turned yellow so idk if that has anything to do with it.

Lol you actually have to use mouse for certain things. Cannot switch between quests and level in journal with gamepad, only mouse.

Sidetracking from the current discussions for a bit: anyone know where the torrent files are on Win XP? There's nothing (that i can find) in my documents folder/subfolders. Torrents on my home connection go real slow if it isn't through uTorrent, but downloading with the official launcher was a breeze at work :\
