Lol you actually have to use mouse for certain things. Cannot switch between quests and level in journal with gamepad, only mouse.

you can always just hit enter on keyboard after you highlight the option, never have to touch the mouse

So I received a linkshell from Sonomaa on Jecht earlier, and after a logout it shows that I have no linkshells. I still have the blue crest icon next to my name though. Anyone know what the deal is?

Can't buy one yet, don't have 500 marks.

The Marauder ones were things like +10 to emnity, +10 to Marauder skill Affintity (max 100), and a bunch of +5 "Stat" to +5 "stat".

EDIT: There were also things with the same description as Heavy Slash and Broad Swings, so I assume they are higher level replacements for your basic skills?

Name one on the PC that isn't FFXI.

This is pretty hilarious though, for the better part of a year these threads have been nothing but peoples hopes and dreams... and that SE 'learned something from FFXI' and made an actual PC game. Now all of a sudden we have an influx of people wanting to ignore the mouse and play a Ps2 port.

Whether or not it was on PC isn't relevant. It is a console-supported game and should have standard console support. I didn't have to do it in XI and I certainly don't want to have to do it in XIV.

Just means no waiting for 30 seconds before you get teleported. Still costs anima

I finally got out of the beginner area to get to the skull camp....only to hear the level up sound....and again....and again....repeat about 30 times while i'm doing a leve, and then one final time as i complete it, select teleport then CRASH error....fun times, fun times.

There's also a new mob there, Lost Wether, basically a lost ewe with horns. There's a ton of ppl in the area now tho. It was a sweet spot in P2 on my last server because I never saw anyone else there.

The new moves are crazy. Like the Sewer Mole's move where he burrows underground.

Sometimes it works for me sometimes it doesn't.
Last time I logged on I think it was working for about 10 minutes and then it was telling me I had no linkshells.

Hope they don't turn this into oblivion 0 point in an expansive world if you can just insta-port around. I hope the anima costs are high or the regen rate is just inflated for beta.
