Usually you need to hit the sweet spot 2-3 times for gathering. The exception seems to be if you're a high level harvesting a lower level item, sometimes 1 perfect swing will do it.

If it was that easy, I don't see why they didn't open them up right from the start. They obviously weren't polished enough when the beta client went live, so I suppose we need to download tweaks and stuff to make them work first..

You will want to move to japan and play on their off-hours if you want green pings....

I'm green majority of the time, unless i'm downloading "stuff". But even with s/r being green i still occasionally see lag in my ability activation, either when the ability doesnt go off when i hit the button or if i queue an ability it waits until i have 50% more stamina than i need for the ability.

Every "stack" should really be a "bag" such that you can carry any combination of +x of the same item to a maximum of 12 per stack, and you can open a stack and pick out the specific one you want. But that probably won't happen.

+1/2/3 mats only give higher starting durability and quality. You can start with 3 +3 mats and a fuckton of durability and still fail hard if you're too low level. Crafting level and tool level makes the most difference.

- The servers may go down in certain specific situations.

- A character's moving speed may goes down in certain situations and may not return to the normal speed.
* If your character's speed decreases due to this issue, please log out and then log back in to restore it to its original speed.

High latency can really fuck up your rdm/nin shit sometimes, maybe they will have some servers in each region this time.
